I just traded away CMC for Adams and 2 2020 1sts...I already had Mixon but there's no way I would've taken Mixon, 1.02, 2.02 for him. I'd take that deal!

My first dynasty league (10 years redrafter). The team won the league in 2018 but this year was 11th place. I just bought it as an orphan with the idea to win now if I can while rebuilding.... I just put the team in my signature , what do you think? Is it a complete rebuild or is it competitive? Should I do the CMC trade and hope for no regression while giving up my draft capital?

Really tough call. Ryan, CMC, Kamara, Davante and Terry is a nice core. The issue is I'm high on Mixon and the potential for the Bengals offense next year and feel regression is coming (sooner or later) for CMC. Kamara could hold out (speculation at this point but hes a top candidate for it) and even if he doesn't we saw what can happen this year when he's not incredibly efficient. I like Terry a lot but not sure I'd be overly confident counting on him every week as my WR2. It could easily go either way. I'm also nervous about TY which doesn't help.
If it were my team, I'd hold the package and keep building. Mixon is a stud, you can get another stud at 1.02 and potentially another solid player at 2.02. Set your team up for the future rather than pushing all your chips in now. Just my opinion though. A lot of people would probably call me crazy cause ya know...CMC. Lol. But whoever is selling him is obviously pretty confident that package will make their team better in the long run and I would be too so my vote is to keep it.

I’d say the difference between Mixon and CMC is more than the 1.02 now. Will we be able to say the same thing next season? I don’t know. While the value is on that side, I would either buy with an eye towards selling to get a better package back or just keep your pick and add another top RB to Mixon and Kamara. You earned the 1.02 with that core for the most part, I’m assuming. This trade would thin you out a little more, and I agree with the comment about TE premium. You need more reliable options.

There’s no way cmc will put up the numbers he did this year every year. Plus you never know what the new coaching staff is gonna do. As a panthers fan I pray the new coaching staff has enough sense to draft or sign a decent satellite back that can take some weight off his back but not have to change the offense. Plus mixon is young and I think cincy is gonna be a way better team next year

Mixon for me. The difference right now is more than the 1.2, but won’t be in the future. Mixon’s 2nd half of the season was like RB 5, and with their oline back, burrow there, you gotta expect big things from him in the future. I never buy the best dynasty asset the off season after it makes no sense. I guarantee this will look a lot different next year when you have a stud rookie RB plus Mixon. If Saquon can have his fantasy season derailed this past year no one is safe.
