Kamara v package

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Kamara v package

Postby Edgy68 » Mon Jan 20, 2020 7:50 pm

Is Kamara still worth two mid 1sts, a 2021 2nd, and Juju? I’m fully on the “no” side, but wanted to make sure I’m not delusional. I feel like, even with Juju’s year, that’s about a 1st too heavy.

Continuing from another thread, still looking to add a WR from my depth with a mid 1st for a RB, but this guy also has A. Jones and is tough to deal with.

Nope. I wouldn't consider moving that for Kamara at all. He's not even a true lead back, so when his efficiency declines, like this year, he won't have a great year. He missed Ingram. That deal isn't close for me.

Oh my. Not a chance I’d do that for Kamara. Take out juju and I’d be more inclined to take the Kamara side based upon team build
Team 1
Q: Allen, Lamar
W: Devonta, Nuk, Godwin, Adams, Diontae, MT, Bateman, Toney, Osborn
R: JT, Henry, Ekeler, Gibbs, Mattison, Ford
T: Kelce

Team 2
Q: Allen, Mahomes, ARich
W: Jefferson, AJB, Tyreek, GW, Ridley, Godwin, MT, Downs, Toney
R: JT, CMC, Barkley, Breece, J. Cook, Kamara
T: Kelce, Hock
2024: 1.02, 1.04, Pick 21
2025: 1st (early)

Team 3
Q: Lamar, Herbert, Goff, Geno
W: Chase, AJB, Waddle, Pittman, Ridley, MT, Terrace Marshall, Downs
R: CMC, Ekeler, Bijan, Barkley, JT, Kamara, Tucker
T: Andrews, Granson
2024: 1.03, 3rd (late)

Team 4
Q: Mahomes, Allen, Geno
W: Tyreek, Lamb, Ridley, Pittman, Diontae, MT
R: CMC, Henry, JT, Chubb, Dobbins, Tucker
T: Kelce, Gesicki, Kittle

I had Kamara in redraft this yr and realized just how overhyped he can be. It's difficult to invest such a hefty price on a guy when he gets 8-12 carries and 4 receptions per game. He definitely was not a focal point of that offense this year and it's hard to say he's going to get back to what he was.

Totally agree. With Ingram gone, he faltered. I don't trust him as a top 5 back. Guys like Chubb and Cook I'd have above him, they are focal points of the teams offense, and the same age.
