Slayton or 2.06?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I would rather hold Slayton for that price. He is young and showed solid upside.

Depends on if you believe you are selling high or low.
Slayton was once a late 4/5th round rookie pick or a WW Claim.
You are in a total rebuild.

Do you believe Slayton is going to give you WR1/2 production 2-3 years from now?
Has Slayton done enough to push aside more established WRs in NY or avoid them adding a Day 1/2 WR?

If you answer No to 1 or both of those questions

Do you believe the pick or Slayton will have more value in the upcoming off-season?

The DLF Trade finder is all over the map with Slayton for consensus valuation, but his ADP could likely drop out of the top 100 (currently in the 90-100 range) once the 2020 rookies get added and getting good draft picks for an asset with a sub 100 ADP may be difficult.

So if you are not a believer, and in your total rebuild situation, I would strongly advise to sell for the pick, or at least explore similar (but slightly better) value deals. Personally I am not as high on the 2020 class as many, but if this was a year ago (ie 2019 2nd) I'd snap accept it myself, and since many owners feel the 2020 class is one of the strongest in recent memory it would suggest that a snap accept a year ago is no a run dont walk to the phone to accept the deal offer.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Do they have any other draft picks? An early 2nd? Late first? They obviously like Slayton if they are coming to you with an offer. No harm in sending a counter asking for their next best pick. But I’d probably hold him over a mid second.
