Overall Team Advice

Postby stigskol » Sat Jan 18, 2020 9:12 am

Hey Guys, Team is in signature.
I feel like I put my team in contention for quite some time. I was wondering if anyone would make any moves with my team to make it even better. I've thought about trying to trade Chubb away for the 1.08, 1.09, and the 2.04... or even finding a taker for Hunter.

Stay Put, or Shake things up?

Thanks much!!!

I'd throw Teddy, Laird, Pettis, Bisi, and Kumerow back for step one. After that you could either float trade offers for Henry, or stand pat and enjoy the draft picks you already have. I like Giesiki to improve into that top 10-12 area of TE next year with top 6 upside if he fully breaks out. As for your picks you should be able to land a couple of nice RBS and probably a WR. Nice spot to be in.

I agree with the players listed if anyone is interested in any. Shopping H. Henry is not a bad plan in case you get a good offer. Otherwise, I would hang tight and see how your teams comes out in 2020.

Yeah that's the plan over dropping those guys back into the bucket. H. Henry is the guy that I was thinking about shopping. What do you think I could get for him to a TE needy team.. a late first? Maybe a couple of seconds?

If the team is needy and has some draft capital, I dont think a late 1st is unrealistic. There does not seem to be a super hyped TE comong out, therefore Henry is a great option.

Can’t believe we missed that the OP wants to trade Chubb for 2 late 1st and a 2nd. You need to be building around him. Trade Henry for a late 1st and enjoy having all those 1st to build around.

Good point... Thanks guys! I was getting greedy with all the first round picks.

I think you are deep enough at WR to deal one of those top ones for 1st round picks. And I would make the Chubb deal for the picks but try to get a throw-in of a lower RB for depth.

Wow.. Bold to get ride of one of my WR's. Is this class really going to be better than Adams or Diggs?

Henry is probably in the 1.08-1.10 range ideally. I had a guy offer his 1.07 a couple of hours after I completed a trade for Henry with a different team. I was sick at my stomach cause I sold him for the 1.10 because the guy with the 1.07 never got back to me until a couple hours later. So, the 1.07 may be possible if the right team likes him.

It literally makes no sense to trade Chubb for the picks. Check out the discussion forum on the 2020 class and you’ll see that the late 1sts took honestly a huge hit in value. With half a round of prospects going back to school you want at least 1 top 5 first in a trade for Chubb if not 2.
Dynasty Team 1:

10 Man, Full PPR, .2 PPC, Double Flex

QB: Kyler Murray
RB: Saquon Barkley , Breece Hall, Swift, Dobbins, Gibson, CEH
WR: Devante Adams, Tyreek Hill, Jamarr Chase, DK Metcalf, Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy
TE: Travis Kelce

2023 Picks: 1.4, 1.8, 2.9, 3.2, 3.6, 3.8

Dynasty Team 2:

10 Man, Half PPR, Double Flex

QB: Tua
RB: Barkley , Mixon, Javonte, Jacobs, CEH
WR: AJB, Tyreek, Lamb, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Kittle

2022 Picks: 1.5, 1.6, 2.3
2023 Picks: 2 x 1st, 2 x 2nd

If you’re wanting to get better then it doesn’t make sense to me to trade Chubb for two late firsts. Keep him and build around him. I would shop Diggs and see what you could get for him as far as 1st round picks go.
