Boston Scott Trade [POLL]

I added Boston Scott for free off waivers toward the end of the season for my team in sig, and he looked pretty good in a small sample size. That said, I think that even in a best-case scenario, Scott would still be just the 1B to Miles Sanders in PHI.

Our league has shallow-ish rosters, so if I keep / use both my current rookie picks (1.09 and 3.08) come draft time, I would need to eventually cut three players in August. There's no rush to cut down, but I'm considering using Scott to move up in the rookie draft and preemptively make some roster space.

I'd value Scott in the early/mid 3rd range, so would Scott + 3.08 to the Sanders owner for the 2.12 be a fair offer?

I think it's a more than fair offer. I'd offer it up and see what the other owner says. I don't see the harm.

Very fair offer. If rejected it would be because of the shallow-ish rosters, but I think a very fair, reasonable, and considerate offer.

i think i would still be interested in enough prospects in the late 2nd to prefer that to scott and a 3rd.

Yes it is. He’s talking from the perspective of the guy giving up the 2nd. He’s saying that the value is fair but the other owner probably won’t want to give up his 2nd to move back for Scott......

Call me crazy but I think we're selling Scott a little short here, pun intended.

He balled out over the last month of the season and at times looked like the team's best running back (even better than Sanders at times).

I certainly don't expect him to ever be a full time back, but I wouldn't discuss the possibility of him carving out a significant change of pace role - like D. Johnson, T. Cohen, A. Ekeler...

Piling on, if you can get that done I would. I would take any 3rd for Scott so packaging one with him for 2.12 is a slam dunk to me
