Rams WR Trio (Poll)

Postby pmart33 » Fri Jan 17, 2020 9:04 am

How would you rank the Rams top 3 WRs in order of value? Seems like I get a different answer depending on who I talk to, but curious what the community feels about them.

I think it has to be Kupp. Whenever this dude is on the field he produces like a WR1. Ignore his "sneaky" speed. Baller and a shot caller.

It's so hard to predict this offense. They just change their mind on how people are used suddenly. The last 3rd of the season Kupp was a distance 3rd in the pecking order and only remained even a fantasy WR2 because of his totally unsustainable TD rate.

Kupp averaged 97 yards per game before the Rams bye week, and 46 yards per game after the bye week. Meanwhile Robert Woods was quietly WR6 overall after the Rams' bye (despite missing a game) and Tyler Higbee was a monster.

It's interesting also that the same thing happened last year. The Rams' offense and the guys who were the focal point of it completely shifted after the Rams' bye week in 2018 as well.

its easily Kupp #1 but i caution people to not value him too highly as his TD numbers will surely go down and he also had 60% of his production come in 5 of his 16 games (thats a ton of production in 1/3 of a season and very mild the other 2/3). His TD rate saved him from having an insane meltdown the second half of the season. The risk in any of these Rams players (including everett, higbee, and gurley) is that they are all capable of being "the man" any given week so counting on any of them for solid weekly production is tough.

Agree except I don't think you get a first of any kind if selling woods even if you ask for that. Just eyeball test there's 4 really good rbs, maybe 1/2 second tier rbs like Akers and Moss then you have Juedy, Lamb, Ruggs, Shenault and Raegor. I bet most people will want any of them over an aging Woods.

Cooks is at risk to b retire or be cut in my opinion (he has a huge contract and they need cap for line among other things like resigning Ramsey).

They would be awesome in a "best ball" format if you could sneak all 3 onto 1 team. Otherwise I'd prefer to have shares of all across multiple teams, and lean Kupp if I had to pick only 1.

For me, Woods is a guy who has been undervalued for over awhile now. His TD numbers were down this year, but they continually find ways to get the ball in his hands:

2018: 86 Catches, 19 Rushes 1376 scrimmage yards
2019: 90 Catches, 17 Rushes 1249 scrimmage yards

I move pick 12 for him this offseason and felt great about it. He's not a burner, so I see his game aging well into his early 30s.
