In a rebuild what is Engrams value?

I am in the midst of a complete rebuild (4 of the first 13 picks including the 1.01) and I have Engram, Knox, Hockenson and Sternberger at TE and my only notable RBs are Gurley, Guice and Hill (I traded them all away for young WRs and picks).
I am planning on taking BPA the entire draft (including the best RB at the 1.01) so my RB should get figured out okay.

I was offered "a deal including Marlon Mack or James Conner for Engram"
Would this make sense? It would add some depth at RB

I would much rather move Engram for a couple 1st rounders even if it's a 2020 and 2021 1st then either RB in a full rebuild. Engram is also not a bad hold for a full rebuild if you dont get a solid offer.

Mack and Conner and Engram all have the same value range. If he's coming to you, I think you can ask for a 2nd or 3rd back but it's fair value if you decide a straight swap is what you want to do. Personally, I don't trust the new coach or Engram to stay healthy so I would take one of the RBs. If you're trading now, I would say the Steelers are less of a risk to address RB in draft/FA so Conner should be more likely to retain his current value.

Need to pay up a little here.... All are similar value just depends on who wants the deal done.

I would not be looking to acquire either of those backs in a rebuild. Those guys are like RB3s or flexes for a competing team.

Engram is young, and playing with a young QB who looks good. I'd hold Engram, I think he has top five TE potential if he can stay healthy. If you are in a complete rebuild, I'd be looking to move Gurley while he still has some value, not Engram.

I'd target Mack, who is two years younger than Gurley. I'd try Mack and a 1st for Gurley.

I would ask for more, but then flip whichever RB you get for something else.
