Armstead vs. Edmonds

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Armstead vs. Edmonds

Postby Benchwarmer101 » Tue Jan 14, 2020 5:35 pm

Working on a trade. Need a toss in to make it balance out. I can either get Edmonds or Armstead. Which one caries more future value?

I rostered Armstead with the hope that Fournette will fall flat again and Jax might move on from him this offseason. That didn't really happen. One would think that either Drake or DJ will move on from Arizona this year leaving Edmonds for the extra.

I would gamble on Edmonds unless you think Armstead will get an expanded role (outside of a Fournette injury).

I might be biased, but I think this is Edmonds easily.

Neither is projected to be a starter this year, but there's a big difference:

Armstead is a handcuff.

Edmonds looks like he can be the next Ekeler - he played extremely well when given snaps earlier in the season before he got injured and the team utilized Drake as their feature back.
