LJax vs Scary Terry, Deebo and 3 2020 1sts?

Sorry to post twice in a day but got a doozie here.

For the team in my Sig a friend and I were talking about trades. He has maybe the best roster in the league as is, here's a few of his players:

QB - Mahomes, Tannehill, Carr
RB - Chubb, Kamara
WR - Adams, Allen, Hollywood, McLauren, Deebo, Ridley, Arob,
TE - Henry, Andrews, Ian Thomas

I half jokingly told him to give me Deebo, Scary Terry, and 2020 picks 1.07, 1.09, and 1.10 for Lamar; and he's actually considering it; and so am I.....

My thinking is if it happened I could package 1, 2, or all 3 of those picks to get another QB.

Is this insane or would the equivalent of 5 first round picks be enough to give up Lamar?

I'd honestly do it. You could either use those picks to go after another QB, use them to trade up in the draft, or just keep them and get the best players or maybe even draft Burrow or Tua.

Well that’s a SuperFlex league, so Lamar >> CMC. The deal looks great on paper but is a few late firsts and a few talented rookie (although I absolutely love mclaurin). It seems like a bunch of dart throws (especially 1.7,1.9,1.10) for the best overall player in that format. I’d say it’s a strong no. If your trading the best player in any format you need to be getting back at least 1 great piece.

I would do it. Trade Lamar Jackson before he gets hurt. We've seen QB's burst on the scene like this and it never lasts long. His value will never be any higher than now.

Interesting. You can troll your opponent next year by starting all the players you acquired against him, kind of like when Jeff Fisher's Rams played the Redskins after RGIII fizzled out. But then, your opponent will be rolling out Lamar and Mahomes and probably murdering teams next year.

And now Mitch will be your QB2. Not saying it wasn't a good haul, but you may have just made your trade partner the prohibitive favorite for next year.

Yea the QB situation that my buddy would have is frightening. But the trade hasn’t happened yet so we’ll see what happens!

I wouldn't move Jackson for that in a SF. That's a bunch of late 1sts and no QBs coming back. Leaves you with Baker and Trubisky, which is not very pretty in a SF.

That’s what I said above to. Idk why everyone’s quick to jump on a bunch of dart throws for the number 1 player in the format. If I offered all that for CMC or Saquon it would be “easy pass”.
