1st year Dynasty Noob. Trade Help.

I was offered this trade and I unsure if I should take it. Help!

Give: J. Conner, and 2.07
Receive: L. Bell, 2.02, and 2.05

This is my first year of dynasty, and I unsure if this is a fair trade or not. I am concerned about Bell's age and his usage on the Jets but we all know his talent. I also think both Conner and Bell had off years and they both should bounce back but I don't know who will be better moving forward. Do you think I should accept or do you think I should counter with my 3.05 instead of 2.07?

I would make this trade to move up a few spots in the draft if you know you can flip Bell for a 1st or equivalent value. Bell is not a piece I would want long term, but I think Conner has question marks too. I feel Bell has more value base don name alone though.

2.02 + 2.05 > 2.07

I would easily take this trade, although to be honest, I don't really like any of the pieces. I'd rather get a 2020 first back than Bell.

Thank you all for the input. I kind of felt like Bell and Conner are a wash, but I would get more years out of Conner and seeing this is my first year in dynasty I wasn't quite sure how to value the longevity of the player.
I unfortunately won't be able to get a first out of the deal seeing he has 1.02 and he is unwilling to part with that pick. I might be able to get Bell and shop him to other owners, but I don't want to look dumb if I can't find a buyer. If that makes sense.

I would try to flip Bell for at least a first, maybe see what else you can get on top of the first. But worst case scenario, if you can't flip him, you should be fine with Bell. He gets a lot of touches. I'm not high on Conner at all, he may be a little younger, but Bell is more talented. Plus you get two higher draft picks in a deep draft. This is a good move for you.

BPA. Take the best player available at the time. I would not pass on a more talented player based on position. Your team looks like it's close to being competitive, but not quite there yet. Take talent over position.

You didn't mention other picks. What about a counter offer of 1.07, 2.07, and Connor for 1.02, 2.02, 2.05? I don't know that I would use the 1.05 instead due to the depth of the top tier. However, if you're not comfortable with Bell and he likes Connor, it's worth a shot. Otherwise, I'd take Bell and the upgrades in the 2nd.

I already accepted the trade of Conner and 2.07 for Bell, 2.02, and 2.05. He was pretty against moving from 1.02, he loves the idea of having anyone he wants it the draft. It is also the first year in Dynasty for a lot of us in the league. So I think a lot of people just don't know how to value their picks, myself included. For instance as soon as that deal went through I said I was shopping Bell and someone said they would consider 3.03 for Bell.

Good trade for you. I feel like conners very replaceable and bell will have a long leash bc of his contract before anyone would think of replacing him in the draft
