I figured that Davis was worth basically a late 2nd at most if not less. I decided to do the following deal for my team in sig.
Give: Corey Davis + 2022 2nd
Get: 2022 1st
I know the pick is light-years away but I think I'd rather the upside of adding an unknown 1st far away than a late 2nd or even less right now. Thoughts?

2022 is so far away so I’d hold Davis still

Re: Corey Davis Trade
To me I basically saw this as getting that upgrade for absolutely nothing. But yeah I understand this. I just know that a 2022 1st will begin to have value after this rookie draft is over and by the time we get to August, I think the 2022 1st will be worth more than the other side.

I would hold Davis and hope he moves on from Tennessee and gets going.

Re: Corey Davis Trade
Is anyone even paying a 2nd for Davis at this point? I'd take the 1st.

Davis looks like the definition of a roster clogger: Too good to drop, but not good enough to put in your lineup. Give me the open roster spot and future first by a lot.WhatWouldDitkaDo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 11:15 am Is anyone even paying a 2nd for Davis at this point? I'd take the 1st.

I like the move. 10 man and with your team, you’ll never use him and who know how much his value goes up being the number 2 guy if it ever does... I’d take the 1st even though it’s so far out..
Team 1:
10 team SF, .5 ppr
1-QB 1-SF 3-WR 2-RB 1-TE 1-Flex
QB: Allen, Burrow, Goff, Aidan OConnel
RB: ETN, K Walker, Swift, D Pierce, Monty, Herbert, McLaughlin
WR: Deebo, AJB, Lamb, DJM, Dell, Higgins, Jeudy, E Moore, Michael Wilson, Tutu
TE: Kinkaid, Schultz, Njoku

Re: Corey Davis Trade
Well...what if the pick swap ends up being 2.01 for 1.10? You will have lost 2 years of Davis's services for almost nothing. I would have wanted some sort of "clause" in the trade in the event something like that happens. I.E. get a little something more back in a later round.
"Marathon Square" - 16 team full PPR league with 24 player roster. Keep 16 per year indefinitely, draft 8. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Team DST
QB: Jordan Love, Deshaun Watson
RB: Travis Etienne, Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Kendre Miller, Jaleel McLaughlin, Sean Tucker, Deuce Vaughn
WR: A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, Michael Wilson, Kendrick Bourne, Tutu Atwell, Allen Lazard, Isaiah Hodgins, Justin Shorter
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cole Kmet, Kylen Granson
K: Didn't make the playoffs in 2023 , and don't usually hold one in the offseason
Team DST: Cowboys, Lions
Picks:
2024: All my picks except 3rd rounder
Disclaimer: My one and only Championship in this league was way back in 2011. Therefore, take my replies with the appropriate grain of salt.

Re: Corey Davis Trade
True. But reverse that for a second. It's a dying asset in Davis for the 1.01 in that case. Who knows where these picks will land, but the best case scenario is just as likely as the worst.Paul717 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 12:51 pm Well...what if the pick swap ends up being 2.01 for 1.10?
