CMC vs MThom

We must start 2RBs and a Flex in this league, and I currently have Barkley, CMC, Mixon, 1.01 and 1.02. Assuming I still have those picks come draft time I’d likely have 5 solid options at RB so I’d like to pursue a top young WR, and MThom is at the top of my list.

The owner of MThom is interested in CMC and has drastic need at RB but has solid WRs. They both had freakish years but I’m having a hard time determining their value. What would you want if you were swapping one for the other?

Is CMC for MThom + late 1st/early 2nd enough? Is there any chance the CMC side would be the one adding? Would you be happy to swap them straight up?

I’m curious to see the perceived value between the two.

The 2 RB setting might swing this in the CMC favor slightly, but these two are both very even in my opinion. Thomas and a 3rd at most based on the 2 RB setting.

this exactly, i would rather add enough to mixon to make it an overpay for thomas

This depends on where the pick is. There is a zero percent chance in hell that I’m moving CMC for MT and a late second.... even a late first doesn’t make much sense to me.

Now if it’s MT and the 1.01 or 1.02... then there’s some consideration beginning to happen.

CMC is on his own planet, even compared to MT.

If I really wanted CMC I wouldn’t add more than maybe a mid-late second. I just prefer the stud locked in top 5 WR for the next 4 years over an RB who can lose his value in a heartbeat ( see Gurley, DJ, Bell, etc). Both are elite assets though and should be seen pretty even in dynasty rankings.
