Looking for advice on Kamara Vs Cook. I only acquired Kamara in the offseason for Cook and Godwin. Is this a trade I should pursue or should I stick with Kamara?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Poll: Alvin Kamara or Dalvin Cook + Mattison
Mattison makes me a little concerned due to his skill level, but I like Cook's workload more. Mattison could be a starter down the road too.
Re: Poll: Alvin Kamara or Dalvin Cook + Mattison
At this point I'm concerned with Kamara myself. I own him in one dynasty league and I'm looking to shop him for the right price. I thought he'd get much more volume this year with Ingram out of the picture, but they're still treating him like he's a committee back. I've also noticed this season that he's very TD dependent. His reception totals have carried him for the most part. Just an example, he scored 14 TDs his rookie season, 18 TDs last season, but only 6 TDs this year. Four of those TDs came in the last 2 weeks. He only had one other game, 2 TDs in week 3, in which he scored period. He scored 75pts less this year than his rookie season, and 106 pts less than last year in PPR. Okay, some that is due to him missing 2 games this season, but his pts per game avg was 23.6 both of his first two seasons, and down to 17.7 this year. I'm a little concerned. Is it just an aberration or something to truly worry about?
Meanwhile, Cook looks like a monster in that run heavy scheme that gives him heavy volume. If you're worried about him holding up you'll have his handcuff in Mattison. I like that side at this point. It's really a matter of which situation or player do you feel better about. Both really good, but it's your decision. Go with the one you'll sleep better knowing is on your roster.

Re: Poll: Alvin Kamara or Dalvin Cook + Mattison
id take the cook side. The emergence of taysom hill as a red zone weapon has made Kamara a lot less valuable in my opinion. Cook is the engine the moves the whole offense on the vikes, in the rush and pass game. And gets all the red zone looks. and Kamara Is more of a back that needs to share with a bigger back to make him more valuable per touch.and there’s so many different things going on in the saints offense.
Next week the saints waterboy will take a end around for 73 yards to put them down at the 3 yard line setting up a touchdown pass from their linebacker to the long snapper.

Re: Poll: Alvin Kamara or Dalvin Cook + Mattison
Kamara by a good portion. TDs will regress to back what they should next season. Cook has an extensive injury history, especially to his shoulders , dating back to his FSU days. I like Cook a lot, but you have to factor in the injury history.
Re: Poll: Alvin Kamara or Dalvin Cook + Mattison
You realize that saying TDs should regress back to 15+ does not make sense right? TD Regression for RBs means back to the mean not the other way around lol. I think it is a bit concerning that the saints can be extremely dominant and putting up 30 a game without really involving Kamara heavily at all. Vikings on the other hand, cannot do the same with Cook.

Re: Poll: Alvin Kamara or Dalvin Cook + Mattison
Dalvin cooks situation is definitely much better as of now, the big difference between the two in my opinion is Cooks injury history.

Kamara isn’t Kamara this year. Has been dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Those don’t get right until the off-season.

Re: Poll: Alvin Kamara or Dalvin Cook + Mattison
I think this trade is basically a wash.
I personally prefer Kamara as I see him being a longer term asset, I think his ppt floor will keep him as a mid RB1 for years with the caveat of upside.
Cook has looked absolutely dominant but he seems to get banged up often so I could see the Vikings scaling back his load a tad given they have a talented back up in Mattison, not anything to take him out of being an RB1 but enough to potentially cap his upside.
Just my two cents

I tend to look in a short window than most (I think), so the fact that I think Kamara will be worth more in 4-5 years doesnt factor in too heavily, and I call this a push. If you are more future minded, Id lean Kamara.

Id rather Kamara over Cook/ Mat but I think you can get more for Cook and Matt rn than Kamara. I’d try to turn Cook/Matt into Barkley/ CMC/ Zeke.
