12 team 0,5 PPR
I am trying to trade for 1.01. The owner of 1.01 sent me this offer:
I get 1.01 and 2.05
I give Diggs, Carson, Knox and 3.11
Without looking at rosters or team needs, how do you guys feel about that trade offer. Should I go ahead and accept??
Comments and advices are highly recommended.
Trading for 1.01
Re: Trading for 1.01
Rosters and team needs are pretty important when considering trades.
You would be selling Diggs and Carson cheap. But I also don't view either of those guys as league winners next season, so if you want to get rid of Carson and Diggs now before the 1.01's value skyrockets I would definitely consider taking the deal.

Re: Trading for 1.01
Not a horrible price for the 1.01 on the surface. I still view Carson as a solid top 12 back, but Diggs to me is the big question mark here. Comes down to how you view him. He is a top end WR a handful of games and outside of that, he is unstartable. If you are really high on one of the backs coming out, I could live with this price.
Re: Trading for 1.01
Someone in another thread today said Carson could be out all of next season. That probably changes the math on this quite drastically.

On the surface alone, that seems like a lot to give up for the 1.01. However, if you are loaded at WR and TE, but need a generational RB talent to take your team to the next level, this could be a no-brainer accept. Rosters are always important in evaluating a trade offer you have received, unless it is an obvious steal. Which this is not.

Re: Trading for 1.01
Depends on Carson's health. If he's healthy next year and continues to play at a high level, I'd stick with the players. If he misses the season (or majority of it) or isn't the same because of the hip injury, then I'd rather have the 1.01. Obviously hard to predict what happens with Carson, so I'd say it's close overall and would have to depend on roster and team makeup.
Re: Trading for 1.01
Before yesterday, I would have said the players but a bad hip injury for a RB could be the end, so I would take my chances with the 1.01.
