J.Cook or A.Miller?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Who would you prefer?

J.Cook or A.Miller?

Postby JamboMac » Tue Dec 17, 2019 6:37 pm

Team 3 in sig.

This is a 1.5 TE PPR league. In the final, my best TE is Hollister (who has a nice matchup next week anyway). I feel Cook would help me win..BUT, Miller has looked every part we had all hoped he would the last few weeks.

Is it worth selling a young dude like Miller now and go for the W, or hold him (I'm the favourite to win anyway - hooopefully), and have a nice piece for the future? Ebron doesn't fill me with hope that he will come back stronger next year anyway, so Cool could be a nice piece for 3/4 years yet, despite his age.
12 team - 1QB, PPR
QB- Mahomes, Geno, Dobbs
RB- Ekeler, Taylor, Z.White, B.Robinson, Mattison, Stevenson, Zeke
WR- Allen, Jefferson, Tyreek, AJ Brown, M.Thomas, Atwell
TE- McBride, Waller, J.Smith

12 team - SF, PPR, 0.25PPC, 1.5 TEP
QB - Allen, Lawrence, Jackson
RB - JT, Etienne, Hall, K.Williams, Gibbs, Dobbins
WR - Lamb, St Brown, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, JSN, Meyers
TE - Pitts, Engram, Freiermuth, Otton,

I would hold Miller for long term hope and hope for the best from your TE in the final.

Even in a TE premium, give me Miller over Cook. Miller has been a top 5 WR these past several weeks.

Cheers guys. I was about 90% on Miller's side, just thought I'd double check, as Cook has been great since he came back from injury and doesn't look like he will drop off.

I would just play Hollister. It's not like Cook is a significant upgrade at TE.

PS: Mecole Hardman, Tony Pollard | 2020 Picks: 1.09, 2.10, 3.03 | 2021 Picks: 1st, 2nd

Hold Miller. He has came on lately, and will be a better long term asset. I'd just play Hollister.

If the Cook owner is trying to rebuild, I'm sure you can get him for something much cheaper.
