R. Tannehill - long term value??

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I would take the 2nd here. You have solid options for your top 3 long term.

I think he becomes the Titans starter with a contract in the off-season. And in 2 QB leagues any starter is worth a first imo.

Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs

Depends how many teams. He's certainly looked good with the Titans so I'm sure they will try to sign him. Would also love to see him in TB.

If it's 12+ teams I'm holding. 8 I'll take the pick. 10 it depends

the difference to me is that the OP mentioned it is a 2QB league, not a SF .. so if he is a starter next season (I think he earned it), then he is worth a 1st
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc

It is a 10 man league. Good points here though - I like Tannehill and know how valuable QBs are in 2QB leagues. The owner who wants Tannehill owns Derek Henry and is trying to get the stack - which gives me a little more leverage I think.
10 man/2-QB League:

QB: R. Wilson, B. Mayfield, S. Darnold, P. Rivers
RB: Josh Jacobs, J. Mixon, P. Lindsay, David Johnson, James Conner, T. Cohen
WR: A. Cooper, OBJ, DJ Moore, JuJu, B. Cooks, R. Woods, T. Boyd, M. Williams, R. Anderson
TE: Engram, Herndon, R. Griffin, G. Olsen

Draft Picks: 2020 1st (x2), early 2020 2nd, early 2020 3rd, 2020 4th

Tannehill's suckitude in MIA for years makes him seem like a career journeyman with no upside to many like a Ryan Fitzpatrick or something, but he's actually 31, the same age as Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins. I'd want at least a 1st for him in 2QB formats. There's every reason to think that TEN will sign him to a long-term contract as their starter this offseason based on how well he's played.

Fun fact, here's is a list of all QBs who have outscored Tannehill in fantasy PPG since he got the starting job in TEN 5 weeks ago:
- Lamar Jackson
- Matthew Stafford
Kittles Pox | Championships: 2015, 2017
12-Team PPR | QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, W/R/T, K, DST
QB: Kyler Murray, Aaron Rodgers
RB: Christian McCaffrey, Melvin Gordon, James Conner, Phillip Lindsay, Tevin Coleman, Boston Scott, Benny Snell Jr.
WR: Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, Michael Gallup, Christian Kirk
TE: George Kittle, Travis Kelce | K: Younghoe Koo | DST: SF
PS: Mecole Hardman, Tony Pollard | 2020 Picks: 1.09, 2.10, 3.03 | 2021 Picks: 1st, 2nd

This is easily Tanny in 10-team 2QB, starting QB’s (which he definitely will be in 2020) are like gold, hoard as many as you can unless you get 1sts in return.
