Will I regret Josh Gordon for Jimmy Graham TE premy?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Will I regret Josh Gordon for Jimmy Graham TE premy?

Postby mullmania » Fri Nov 22, 2019 11:29 am

Superflex 14 team TE premy. 9-2, 2nd in points making sure I’m set for title run

Give Josh Gordon
Get Jimmy Graham

My analysis Graham is kind of what but at least he’s reliable and 14 teams he’s prob still a back end TE1/high 2. I’m worried a Kelce injury would sink my chances

Deal or hold?

Qb-Watson-Macarron, Darnold, Dalton-Finley, Bridge, Mullen’s
Rb-Carson, Jones, Ingram, McCoy, Mostert, Burkhead
WR-Cooper, Godwin, Crowder, Samuel, Shepard, Sanu, Gordon, MVS, PRich
TE-Kelce, Walker, R Ellison

For what its worth Walker in this week as Kelce on bye who knows if he even plays.

I’m favored by 60 can prob win either way more looking long term than this week

Thoughts? Which JG reigns supreme?

I don't think you will start Gordon once for the rest of the year, even if a starter goes down. So he is an expendable piece from that perspective. He is also cooked imo. I say go for it.
Team 1:
12-team PPR 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1FLX, 1K - All TD's 6 Points
QB-Rodgers
RB-Taylor, Henry, Cook, E. Mitchell, Davis-Price
WR-Lamb, Godwin, Thielen, Myers, MVS, Lazard, Tolbert, Shakir
TE-Kittle, Geodert, Dulcich

2023 Picks: All original picks

Team 2:
10-team PPR SF 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2 FLEX, 1 SFLEX, 1K - All TD's 6 Points
QB-Tua, Cousins, Ridder, Mariota
RB-D. Cook, Etienne, Penny, Perrine, Drake, Sermon, Vaughn, M. Ingram
WR-Tyreek, Godwin, Lamb, Ja. Williams, Sutton, Pierce, Hardman, Berrios, Shakir
TE-Pitts, Geodert, N. Gray, Dulcich

2023 Picks: 1.01, 4.07,5.05

Team 3:
10-team PPR 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2 FLEX - Passing TD's 4 points, all other 6 points
QB-Fields
RB-Pollard, KWIII, J. White, J. Jackson, Cohen
WR-Chase, Godwin, Diontae Johnson, Hollywood, Olave, Watkins, Smith-Marsette
TE-Pitts, Cook, Everett, Engram, Trautman

2023 Picks: 1.03,1.05, no 2nd or 3rd

Both are a toss up, but Graham is more valuable for your needs. I dont think you will miss Gordon.

Thanks guys. Even as a flex TE premy Graham is prob equal to Josh Gordon I imagine

Think I’m pulling trigger and putting graham in this week

I'd rather hold Gordon and hope for a big game in Seattle. There's always a couple people in every league who believe he'll bounce back. Graham is toast.

If it will help you win this year, sure. Beyond this year, Graham is worth very little and Gordon at least has a high ceiling with all the baggage

Ok I've yet to make any moves.

Let me see how Delanie progresses. If he gets green light but I hold off.

Trade deadline is this Sunday

And TBH if I lose Kelce my chances may sink either way.

Dude if you can trade Josh Gordon for anything that will help your team you do it. Gordon hasn't been fantasy reliable for about 6 years now. I'd take just about anything I could get for Gordon and am shocked people even consider trading for him anymore.

Yeah I feel that too

I think there's always this hope with Gordon. It's kind of insane.

Ok another vote for dealing thanks bud

Took the dealio. Shepard getting cleared gives me another legit option and I think he's on the sidelines for this week for me.

14 team superflex lineup 1.75 TE PPR 1.25 PPR WR 1 PPR RB

Lineup this week with Kelce coming back after bye.

Watson
Darnold
Carson
Jones
Ingram
Cooper
Godwin
Crowder
Samuel
Graham

Hoooooooo!
