PPR: Marques Valdez-Scantling vs Jonathan Williams

Be patient with MVS and let him develop, or take a shot at short-term RB production going into the playoffs. What would you do (and why, if you’re familiar with either player) ?

If competing I think you gotta take JWill here, hard to drop MVS but he's not going to get a better opportunity than this season with Adams injury and literal scrubs all around him. He showed some very brief flashes last year but nothing this year, I'd go for the ship with as much usable depth as possible.

The MVS ship has sailed. He had plenty of opportunity with Cobb going to DAL and Adams missing time and wasn't able to do anything. Lazard has taken over the no. 2 WR role now. Williams is probably just a short-term flex though, so not a whole lot of value there either. I'd probably still gamble on Williams, but go with whoever you think you can sell for a 3rd.

I hold MVS but neither player is a great option long term. Williams is probably the better short term option for your needs.

I’m keeping MVS. If you need to rely on Williams for a playoff run then your chances are already likely shot.

Flippped Williams for his 3rd instead of MVS. I’ll take it!
