Hollister and Jonnu value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Hollister and Jonnu value

Postby Hankybro21 » Tue Nov 19, 2019 9:52 am

How are people viewing Hollister and Jonnu as far as short and long term value? Contender in my league for Team 2 suddenly needs a TE, and our trade deadline is tomorrow. Im not married to either in my rebuild and wouldn’t mind extracting a pick for one.

A 2nd round pick for either seems like decent value. I still like Jonnu long term, so I would rather trade Hollister but that is pure preference/belief.

Seems pretty aligned with what I was thinking as far as a 2nd. Up in the air about who to like long-term. Wilson loves his TE's and who knows how Dissly is coming back from his injury next year.

I think Hollister for a 2 is a deal I'd probably sell for. He's going to be pretty relevant to finish the year here...but if that's the case, is it possible if he has a great finish he increases his value to a 1st? Seems plausible, and in which case, I may hold him.
10 team league (PPR). 31 player rosters. Keep all 31. Start 2 QBs, 3 RBs, 5 WRs, 2 TEs.

QB: Cousins, Fields (R), Z. Wilson (R), T. Taylor, Minshew, K. Mond (R)
RB: Chubb, Mixon, Ekeler, J. Robinson, C. Edmonds, D. Henderson, S. Ahmed, J. Wilson
WR: Diggs, D.J. Chark, D. Samuel, M. Brown, C. Davis, C. Kirk, D. Slayton, J. Meyers, P. Williams, D. Mooney, M. Callaway, B. Persman, I. Smith-Marsette (R)
TE: Kittle, Herndon, O.J. Howard, H. Bryant, D. Schultz, L. Farrell (R)

I own both and if I had to sell one, right now it would probably be Jonnu. He's had a fair amount of opportunity in his career with Walker injuries (this year and last) and not really capitalized outside some flashes. I know TEs take longer to develop but I don't think he becomes a TE1 type guy, I dunno. Hollister and Jonnu are comparable prospects athletically I believe, and Hollister/Wilson are showing nice rapport. Dissly has had back to back devastating injuries (patella and achilles) and who knows what happens with SEA from there but I don't see them investing heavily in TE. I might prefer to gamble on Hollister's future over Jonnu at this point.
