Henry for OBJ

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Henry for OBJ

Postby DinoDynasty » Fri Nov 15, 2019 6:53 am

Team 1 in sig.

A contender that has become depleted at RB (DJ, Conner) offered me his OBJ for my D Henry.

Value is obviously on OBJ side, as I traded TY for Henry 3 weeks ago, but my team is 9-1 and in first. This would leave me rotating Gurley, Sanders, Hyde as my RB2. Should I keep what I have or take this?

I can start up to 4 WRs.

Henry is more important to your playoff run this year.

I'd take the deal and rotate your RBs RoS. Value is too good to pass up.

Drop from Henry to Gurley/Sanders/Hyde is very unlikely to cause you the ship IMO, especially if you can slot in OBJ for your flex (in place of Fitz/Gurley/Sanders/Hyde). The roster change is basically Henry + Fitz/Gurley/Sanders/Hyde versus Gurley + OBJ if I understand it right . . . which is pretty damn close rest of season IMO. I'd snap accept this deal, current and long-term value is way too good and you are already safely in the playoffs, anything can happen once you are there.

If you DON'T trade for OBJ and Henry takes a dump in one of the playoff weeks, you're going to hate yourself. This deal is too good to be true, much less wondering of it's too good to pass up. Take this deal running away.

PS> The Browns schedule gets TONS easier at this point and they just lost TWO of their best defenders, one to an Achilles and one to an inevitable suspension. They're going to be chucking it plenty.

I would think you can flip OBJ or another WR for a good RB to replace Henry. Value is too good to pass up on, but definitely a difficult decision.
