Lost Season - Looking towards the future

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Lost Season - Looking towards the future

Postby Triton85 » Thu Nov 14, 2019 7:16 am

So my season has been a lost cause this year - on of the higher scoring teams in the league, but sitting at 3-7 (4th place already has 6 wins).

So with that in mind I am trying to determine what I can do to improve going forward.

Couple things I'm working on that I'd like so opinions on:
1. Selling James White - got him as a 1 week stop gap, may keep him for the depth unless i can get something decent
2. Buying T. Hill - the last place team is selling him, I think it'd take my early 2020 1st, 2021 1st and a mid level WR
3. Our QB free agent list is empty, even though its a 1 qb league, people have been hording them - hoping the cam/allen situation is more clear by the end of the year
4. I have an offer for pollard - late picks, should I dump him off?

As they say in Buffalo - "There's always next year"

1. Don’t just give away
2. How early is the 2020 1st?
4. Keep Pollard one of best handcuffs
I'm in too many leagues to list them here

I'm looking at the 1.03 or 1.04 at the point with my pick

that team is perfect! i dont like your ideas though. If that were my team and that was my record im looking at the teams that think they got what it takes or are close and targeting them for deals in my favor. paying up for hill while you have lots of high end old assets isnt a preferred option for me. moving those assets to teams that would pay more based on appeal of winning is what i would do. Brees should be an easy sell, take literally anything in terms of picks young player with upside whatever. DJ and Bell are sells as well id be looking for 2020 firsts for both and maybe a young player as well. cooks hilton landry all sells for me too. landry at peak value currently. you got like 6-7 firsts of value you can move and still have a great team. kamara mixon (2 rbs in the 1st), MT Godwin Arob Davis (3 WRs in the 1st), ertz njoku thats an incredible team.
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp

I would pay that for Hill depending on the WR you have to send

I'd sell for an early/mid 2nd but hold if you can't get that.

Seems cheap for a top-3 dynasty WR. I'd get that done ASAP.

You should be just fine at QB with Brissett, Allen, and Newton going forward.

What are the picks? I'd need a mid 2nd to sell Pollard.

I'd rather try to move DJ and/or Bell than White, but not right now. Their values are fairly depressed and might go back up during the offseason when you can get more. White is the perfect type of RB3/4 to have on your roster for depth or flex play.

I'd pay two 1sts and someone like Landry for Hill.

Wouldn't worry too much about QB, at least not right now.

I'd need at least a 2nd to move Pollard.

Good thoughts here. The Hill trade is a great price for his talent.
