DJ for Samuel or Landry/2020 pick- update

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

DJ for Samuel or Landry/2020 pick- update

Postby TheRascal88 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:01 am

*Update- The owner sent another offer:

Give: DJ/Brissett/Brian Hill

Get: Baker Mayfield/Jordan Howard

Our trade deadline in tonight, so I put DJ on the block to see what happens. I started out the year as a top 2 team but find myself at 5-5 and fighting for a wildcard spot.

I received the following offers:

Give: David Johnson

Get:Jarvis Landry/Tony Pollard/2020 3rd

Give David Johnson

Get: Curtis Samuel/Tony Pollard/2020 3rd

I already have OBJ so Landry isn't as interesting to me and both of these trades make me VERY heavy at WR. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

I would hold for a better offer or simply hols if those are the best offers throughout the day.

I don't think the value is too far off, but I'd rather hold Johnson for those packages. Gotta hope he rebounds and his value goes up a bit -- otherwise I'd rather hold for what basically amounts to a 2nd and 2 3rds.
1: 12 team, .5PPR, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 W/R/T
QB: Dak, Mayfield // RB: Mixon, Taylor, Akers, Gibson, McKinnon, Peterson, McFarland, Penny, Gio, Dallas, D. Williams // WR: Evans, Sutton, Chark, McLaurin, Boyd, Diontae, J. Jefferson, M. Williams, Crowder, Washington // TE: Goedert, OJH, Cox, Akins, Dissly

2: 12 team PPR, 6pt all TDs, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 W/R/T
QB: Watson, Minshew // RB: Saquon, Zeke, Cook, Drake, Mostert, McKinnon, Mattison, Pollard, Vaughn, Boston Scott, Ito // WR: Hopkins, Adams, Evans, Boyd, Diontae, Kirk, Lazard // TE: Hurst, Graham, Akins

3: 12 team SF, .5PPR, 6pt all TDs, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 W/R/T, 1 Q/W/R/T
QB: Wilson, Herbert, Carr, Lock, Smith, Stidham, Hoyer, Luck // RB: Cook, Chubb, Ekeler, Drake, Gibson, DJ, McKinnon, White, Hines, Mike Davis, JJ Taylor, Booker // WR: Moore, Lockett, ARob, Thielen, Reagor, Van Jefferson, Byrd // TE: Andrews, Henry
