Team in Sig.. 16 team league.. currently in ~4th place, but moving up with definite contention to be in the money. (We don't do playoffs, just double headers through 15 weeks).
I have no RB's for next week with Carson and Jones out...
Melvin Gordon owner is interested.. has basically asked for my 1st (late) and AJ Brown.
Thoughts? I had considered making it Landry instead of AJ Brown, but week 11 I'll need to start Landry, whereas AJ Brown isn't really startable yet.
Debated asking for a 3rd back in addition to Gordon.. but still worried it's overpaying for an older, sometimes injured back, who might hold out next year.. but also a chance he remains an RB1/2 for another 2-3 years....
Thoughts from the hive mind?

To much for me. I'd pay brown alone for him in that situation

I would rather move Landry in the deal long term over Brown.

It seems a high price to pay.. but I need to make SOME move to stay in contention.. due to format.. with no RB next week.. I'll go 0-2 and lose a fair bit of ground. In talking with other owners for other RB help/options.. I can have James White for my late 1st.. (seems an overpay even if it's the 1.16) or I try to make this deal work somehow......

Gordon for AJB + late 1st doesn't seem expensive to me at all, I'd definitely take it.

He’s now said he’d be ok with Landry as the addition to the first. So It’d be Gordon for Landry and a late 1st.
Thinking I may ask for his (high) 3rd to make it happen. Still scares me a bit, but might be the right deal.
Any other thoughts?

Seems about fair value. Rookie pick 13ish and Landry for MGIII. I’m not sure I’d sell MGIII for much less.

I'd do Landry and a late 1st in a 16 team league for Gordon pretty easily.
