I'm being offered DeAndre Hopkins for my DK Metcalf and next two first round picks in the first team in my signature. What are your thoughts.

Hopkins pretty much no matter what. IF your 2020 1st is looking like its the 1.01, it may make me hesistate a bit, but the value is still on Nuk's side.

My thoughts are how did you not snap accept this?!? Seriously?

This has been very eye opening for me. I see other owners struggling over trades that seem like instant accept to me and sometimes I lose perspective over how much emotion goes into fantasy. I had Metcalf as the third rookie on my board pre-draft and we he fell to me at the 1.09 I was ecstatic. I’ve watched every Seahawk game this year tracking his progress and he’s done even better than I anticipated (I thought he’d need longer to develop than average and he was a bit raw in college). If I was redrafting this I’d take him third after only Jacobs and Murray (it’s superflex). I got locked in on losing DK and maybe over valued him.

I don’t think either of my picks will be early, I’m at 7-2 with the second most points scored. This trade seems like it would secure me a deep playoff run and my team is young enough to keep contending for the next few years. The offer was made over Voice chat and I didn’t send it before he went to sleep. I’ve since sent it now and he hasn’t accepted it yet. We’ll see what happens.

Hopkins was traded for Jordan Howard and likely late 2020 1st. That was more of a dumb owner making a bad trade. Metcalf and 2 1st for Hopkins seems fair,. I would rather have Hopkins if I was close to winning.
