Too much to pay for OBJ?

I’m trying to add another player to my lineup for team one of my sig. I’ve won the first three years of our league and want to win again but another team is now loaded. His starters are CMC, Kamara, Godwin, Evans, Davante and Hooper.

OBJ owner wants Kerryon, and two 2020 firsts. One will be top 4 lotto and one will be 5 or 6. Is this too much to pay for OBJ? I can’t get another stud really and my team is good right now, but I’m not the favorite.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't pay that for OBJ. At the minute it looks like you'd be paying for past production. I like him still, but an early and mid 1st is too much for me. Kerryon will be back next year, so if you're not winning this year, why give up so much?

The hope would be adding a piece to win. If I had OBJ I would trot out Saquon, Chubb, Nuk, Julio, OBJ, ARob and Kittle. I think that team could compete.

If I didn’t have OBJ I would be starting John Brown, Guice or Hunt in my second flex.

John Brown has been better than OBJ all year, and it doesn't look to improve this season for the Browns. They aren't trying to feed him the ball, and with Hunt coming back, you never know what'll happen with the target share, which I think it's safe to say, he will get 5/6 looks a game. Kitchens loves the guy.

Personally I'd rather keep the picks. You would have the ability to get two of either Shenault, Ruggs, Lamb, Ettiene, Dobbins...depending on landing spots, these could all be great players, potentially. But it does entirely depend on whether you believe you can win or not this year with OBJ. I don't think he helps anyone win this year, similar to JuJu.

Too much for me, but I'm not high on Beckham.

If OBJ was firing on all cylinders that would be a great deal but he's a buy-low target for a reason - his situation looks to be bad for possibly the remainder of 2019.

I bet you can get Keenan Allen for just 1 of the Firsts plus KJ

try someone like edelman if he isn't on a competing team.... much cheaper with better production.

If you are looking to compete, go after a different WR than OBJ. The Browns look a mess right now. Baker hasn't thrown for more than 1 TD in a single game this year..... Yikes!

I think for how he's been performing the price is just too high. He just doesn't look right.

Over his last 24 games he's totaled:
141 Receptions on 232 Targets for 2,029 Yards and 10 TDs.

Per game average is:
5.8 Receptions on 9.6 Targets for 84.5 Yards and 0.4 TDs.

16 game pace is decent:
94 Receptions on 154 Targets for 1352 Yards and 6.6 TDs.

At the moment I'd be happy with the deal in dropping 1 of those pieces from it.

I really think after this week that OBJ picks it up. The Browns are still terrible, but they will feed OBJ, and the schedule lightens up after BUF. With the way that OBJ has played though, that package is too much right now. As states above, maybe take out 1 1st and substitute for a 2nd. Or see if you can get another WR who is producing better for cheaper (like an Edelman)

I was interested in trading for him only 2-3 weeks ago but the price point was starting at 4 1sts and possibly looking for a piece on top.
