Thoughts on Joe Mixon?

I have scored the most points in the league, but unfortunately the teams I face decide to bring their best every time I play them. I am going to 5-4, but think I have a pretty decent shot with my roster.

Someone offered me Joe Mixon for Mark Ingram and a late 2020 first. I know that Ingram helps me out now, but long-term with mixon may help my RB core. Thoughts?

I really like Mixon long term, but if you are trying to make a run this year Ingram is the way to go. I don't see Mixon being a safe start at any point this year. Unfortunately, I think this year is lost for him. The price is not bad in the trade, but again it does nothing for you this year. I don't think Jones and Montgomery/Jones II are enough for a title push. Just my opinion though.

If you don’t need ingram to win I’d take Mixon, if downgrading about 5-10ppg kills your playoff chances I’d hold off

I'd take Mixon regardless and figure out how to replace Ingram later.
