What is Mattison worth to the Cook owner? I had the Cook owner reach out and ask what I’d need.

I agree it's likely going to take an early 2020 2nd for most owners
I tried to buy early in the season before we really saw him produce and the price was a 2nd. It has only increased since then

The Cook owner has 2 late 2020 2nds. Probably about 2.8-2.12. We’ve talked about both of them. Just not sure if it’s a move to make. My team isn’t going anywhere this year, but I have a decent young core group.

I only got to watch him last week on TNF...I was impressed.

I definitely wouldn't give him away, especially with Cook's injury history. If you traded him for a 2nd, I'd want a young prospect thrown in as well.

I'd take both of those late seconds. If you're not getting a great offer, just hold him until Cook has a scare or goes down.

This is most likely the case in my league. I can't imagine the Mattison owner parting with him for a second. Actually...just checked...he went at 1.13 in my league this year. He's looked good. No reason for that team to part with him for less than that.

Doesn't it just feel obvious that Mattison is destined to factor hugely into running production at some point... seemingly soon (on dynasty time scale)? Whether it's this season or next.

Hence, it'd take a 1st as a Mattison owner to part with him. Assuming I can hold him until next year.

I had the offer out there, but I withdrew it. I’m going to hold for awhile. Deadline isn’t for a few weeks. We’ll see if he changes.

I agree with this process

He should be worth a pair of late 2nds or one early 2nd all day long to a Cook owner.
