Should I trade for Chubb?

This is for team 4 in sig. I have a good young team, but underachieving this year due to various circumstances, but still in playoff contention. I have an offer on the table to acquire Chubb. I'm a bit concerned about the Browns offense in general, plus Hunt is coming back soon and Chubb probably has similar knee concerns in the long run to Gurley and Michel, so I'm a bit skeptical on paying a big price for him, even though he looks like a bell cow RB. So here's the offer:

2020 1st (top 3 pick)
DK Metcalf
Waller

For

Chubb

It seems like a reasonable price, but like I mentioned above, I have concerns. Would you make the trade?

The price seems fair, but I'm not sure I'd pay it. Chubb looks great, but I have similar concerns about him long term.

I'm taking Chubb here. Hunt looming is making me nervous, but still Chubb.

Take Chubb. He is incredible. The Browns Browns are set at every position group but the oline. He should only get better as Oline and baker improve.

man im gonna as a dumb question...Whats your record?

ya thats a fair price but most people think their team has what it takes and very few are realistic about weighing their team vs other teams in the league. I worry about making a move to get a 4th great rb and moving your 2nd great te in the process, creating insane depth at one area and then praying there is no injury at another. another concern is that the top 3 pick is a player equal to chubb or maybe you would be landing jeudy to really round out your team. your weakness is currently WR where you thought you had two WR1 but instead have odell being a good not great wr3 and juju going boom or bust all season long. neither of those storylines will change as you hope to make a title run.

another thought i have is wondering if you have tried this same offer for a rb on a better team that doesnt have an allstar rb coming back any day now? cook? kamara while injured? Jacobs?

Currently I'm 5-3, but we actually use Victory Points to determine who goes to the playoffs, which I'm in 6th place right now, just at the cut off. I agree that the pick in 2020 could have a similar value to Chubb very soon on its own, so it makes me very hesitant to make the trade. I haven't tried to go after any other RBs, as the Chubb owner approached me, but that isn't a bad idea, just not sure if this particular package will get it done with other owners. Thanks for the response/advice.

shoot your shot now that you have this in your back pocket, doesnt hurt to test out other owners. people really want early 2020 firsts and will do stupid things to get em
