Dj Trade

Postby Bennyblanco22 » Tue Oct 29, 2019 11:48 am

Im VERY worried about the emergence of Edmonds and the trade for Drake so I've been shopping David Johnson.

Give: DJ 2022 Third

Get: Justice Hill, 2020 #2, 2021 #1

Best offer yet and no one else was even interested it seemed. What say ye ?

The 2021 1 is especially tempting, but tough to consider trading away DJ. I'd hold.

I wouldn't trade DJ now. You're not going to get a lot of interest.

Not close for DJ, not the time to be selling him.

What is DJ? He gets hurt every year now. He doesn't have an OLine. I own him, but no one would even offer me that for him. If pick is high or mid 1st, I probably do it even though it feels light on its face. I don't think DJ has a whole lot left. He really only has had one fantastic year.
QB: Mayfield, Bridgewater, Fitzpatrick
RB:David Johnson, Mixon, Chubb, James Robinson, Mattison, K Vaughn
WR: AJG, K Allen, D Adams, JuJu, C Godwin, D Slayton, S Miller
TE: Engram, Kittle
K: Succup
Def.: Arizona

Champions 2006 and 2018. Second a few times in between, again in 2019.

No PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB,WR,TE) 1K 1 1 Def
Drop 7 ea yr. 20 player roster with up to 2 IR

This is exactly my whole thought process. I don't even know where the pick will be but i had to end up taking it. No one in the league would give up a first let alone anything on top, and I have three times now been proactive with running backs. Traded Melvin Gordon for Aj Brown, 2020 1,2 (top 3), 2021 1, did this at the beginning of the season and i doubt I'd ever see a price like that again. Traded Devonta Freeman for Curtis Samuel straight up before the season also. Was pretty light at the time but I had no problem with it because I was considering 'Remaining points scored in career' and even points scored this season, both leaned to samuel. Imo wide receivers can have bounce back seasons but rbs seem to have a hard time bouncing back from pretty much anything it seems. I actually traded Lev Bell for Dj and a 2019 #1 early last season and while dj didn't have a good season, I probably still won that one too. Moral of my story guys, get out from these rbs sooner rather than later. Maybe I could have seemingly gotten more, but maybe dj is a thing of the past already. Time will tell

This is just flat out wrong. He's played 5 seasons and in a PPR, he averaged 15 ppg as a rookie (playing all 16 games), 26 ppg in 2016 (playing all 16 games), broke his wrist in the 1st game of 2017, averaged 17 ppg in 2018 (playing all 16 games), and has averaged 20 ppg this season over 6 full games played. That is consistent and elite RB production and he's only missed real time due to a fluke broken wrist. If you consider a high ankle sprain as "always being injured," see Saquon Barkely in his second season. RB's get injured frequently, the odds are against them staying healthy for a whole season, but DJ has remained relatively healthy over a 5 year career and has consistently produced when playing. Dumping him for table scraps, especially when he's temporarily on the shelf, is not a smart dynasty play.

Wow, nice deal, that’s insane and could easily win you the league.
