Need team help!

Somehow I’m 6-2 and tied for first place in a very competitive league, despite losing AB & Dissly and having Green, Gordon, Fuller & DJ injured. First year playing dynasty so I need help on what moves to make at this point in the year. I’m in 1st right now but there are a couple of teams averaging a lot more points than me.

1. Aaron Jones is OTB. Would you offer my 1st rd pick? Is that enough or would I need to offer more?
2. Would you trade Minshew (or one of my other QBs) to another contender for a 1st round pick? A team 1 spot behind me has 3 1sts - an early, a mid and a late pick and is looking for a QB. If I trade my pick, then I can replace it but then I’m helping another team in contention.
3. Any young players that I should trade to get someone that can help this year?

I think you have to try and move a QB for a nice RB..
AJG is suppose to be back in a week or 2 but who knows what he is now..

If you are really going to try and win now you probably have to move Minshew and picks for some RB and WR help.

Not what you want hear sitting 6-2, but i think selling is the thing for you rather than to buy.

You have some rbs and wrs that are winding down and its your last chance to move them imo.

Doesnt hurt to try to buy, but i think ultimately...your short on talent and luck has been on your side.

1. No way do you get Jones for a 1st. His value is sky high right now. You would definitely need more.

2. If you can move Minshew for a 1st, I would do that. I still think Foles eventually takes over as the starter when he comes back. Your team needs some youth too.

3. What young players? I don't see much of any. Your team is pretty old.

I'd see how this next week or two goes, but it might be time to start thinking about selling off your older players to contenders and rebuilding. If there are a couple teams that have a lot more points than you, then that says it all right there. Your team does not look competitive to me, so I'm guessing the record has a lot to do with some luck.

Lets take a look at your team:


Lineup: 1 QB, 1 Superflex, 2 Flex, 2 RBs, 3 WRs & 1 TE.
QBs: Lamar Jackson, Winston, Wentz, Minshew & Griffin.
QBs look solid. I'd be open to trading Minshew for the first, but I'd rather try to move him for RB help.

RBs: DJ, Edmonds, James White, Hyde, AP, D Lewis, Prosise, Smallwood, Ty Montgomery, CJ Anderson.
DJ/Edmonds combo looks good as a single RB. The rest of your pieces here aren't worth it, you need a solid RB2 and then have white, hyde, AP as depth, the other pieces are just fillers

WRs: Juju, Alshon, AJ Green, AB, Josh Gordon, Fuller, D Robinson, Erickson.
its not bad, but it could be bad in 2 years. right now you just have Juju really.

TEs: Jonnu, Witten, Fells, Doyle, Moreau.
I think this is a good group that will be fine.

IR: Dissly & Sternberger
Well thats pretty decent.

Taxi: Darwin Thompson, Damien Harris, Kerrith Whyte, Tim Patrick
I like Harris, not sure about the others. Not much value here

Honestly I'm surprised that your team is 6-2. I can see it maybe happening in the startup season. Honestly I'm not sure that you can really compete. How are you total points compared to the rest of the league?

I'd look to trade just about all your RBs, All your WRs but juju (though I'm fine trading juju for an overpay).
I'd look to get some rookie RBs (montgomery, Sanders, and Singletary), and some younger WRs or picks.

If you decide to compete I think your window is nothing more than 2 years (this year and next), and once thats over, its gonna be rebuild time.

I'd try and move Minschew for any first rd pick if possible. I'd also float out Winston if you can land a first for him, keep Wentz and LJax as your main qb's. I don't think your team is a real contender and if your a low point scoring team your getting lucky, so I'm building for the future. Depending on when your trade deadline is I'd also be looking to move AJG to a contender for another first, sell them on the fact that he can help them in a stretch run to win it all. Maybe move Jeffery for a 2nd if possible with his age. Good luck.

I like that trade. I'm not a huge Lindsay fan, but the price is right and you get to move from the 2nd to the 1st and get a rb. The only question is where are those picks projected. I'd the 2nd is early (2.1-2.3) and the 1st is late (1.10+1.12), is want a little more coming back
