Dalvin Cook Trade

Postby dynastywiz » Sat Oct 26, 2019 8:42 pm

I was just offered the below trade and to be honest I’m thinking about it. This is a 2QB PPR league with 10 teams. Let me know what you guys think.

GIVE: Dalvin Cook
GET: Kyler Murray, Tyler Boyd, David Johnson and 2020 1st (Late)

MY TEAM:
QBs: Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield, Jamies Winston, Derrick Carr, Case Keenum
RBs: Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, Joe Mixon, David Montgomery, Carlos Hyde
WRs: Odell Beckham, Chris Godwin, Tyler Locket, Terry Mclaurin, Alshon Jeffrey, Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder, Josh Gordon, Demarius Thomas, Antonio Brown
TEs: OJ Howard, Chris Herdon, Kyle Rudolph

TAXI SQUAD:
RB: Bryce Love
WRs: N’keal Harry, Riley Ridley

I only have 1 1st in 2020

Starting requirements and points per touchdown pass would really help get better advice.

Is that the best draft pick that he has? I'd rather a higher 1st than a late. I'd probably want someone other than Boyd too, but that might be because I'm not as high on Boyd as others.

Yea that’s the best pick he has and maybe I could get him to take out Tyler Boyd and put Cooper Kupp in his place.

WOW that is a bleep load for Cook , I love Cook but there is no way I would pass on that in a 2QB league , And tbh I dont think Cook is worth much more than Murray in 2QB 6 point passing TD league

If I do this trade I have another trade in place to flip Derrick Carr for DK Metcalf and Hunter Henry

I don't think DJ's worth that at all, nor do I think Kyler is worth 2 plus first if it's mid. There are good QB's in next years class, you can easily land one with one mid first, or a top guy like Jeudy or Taylor if the QB's go early, and have another pick left over for the price of Kyler. I would not even have Kyler at 1.01 vs this upcoming class, so I can't agree on that. However, I still think the trade is a good one, even in a ten team.

Wow you dont think a 27 year old top 6 RB is worth more than a mid 1st ? I think I would get laughed at if I offered just a 1st for him in any league.. And a rookie QB with a nice offence around him that is top 10 already not worth more than a mid 1st in a SF ? I wish I can buy them for 1 1st

No, you said 2 mid firsts plus. Your completely changing the values I'm commenting on. (He's not top 6 in my leagues, BTW and he's starting to get hurt.) He's being kept afloat by his receiving, which is fine, but now Edmonds is coming on as well, but that's just my opinion and not really relevant. Your specific quote was 2 mid firsts plus. I'm saying neither Kyler, nor DJ are worth 2 mid firsts PLUS, each (vs the current class) in a ten team SF in my eyes. Assuming a mid first is 1.04-1.06 or so. There are different increments between 1 first and 2 first, as well. I would not trade 1.04 and 1.05 PLUS, in a SF for Kyler, but I'd certainly do 1.05 and a 3rd, for instance.

idk I paid a early - mid 1st and mid - late 1st for Evans I thought that was cheap and I would give Evans for DJ , I meant DJ was a top 6 RB before he got hurt I dont count his last game he got 1 carry for 2 yards , I think Edmonds is a decent backup that will get 8-10 touches a game while DJ is active kinda like a Mattison to Cook
