Baker Mayfield

For my team in sig. Baker is currently on a 4 year contract for only $2. It’s a 1 QB league. I’m not sure how to value him because I don’t value QBs very high in this format. What would you need to move him?

I was offered a 2021 2nd for him. Thoughts?

What % of the cap is that? I'm assuming it's extremely low, so he's an easy hold at that price with his considerable upside.

Yeah, salary cap is $200.

He’s asking about Darnold, same contract?

I don't think Darnold has the fantasy upside that Baker or Allen do, so I would consider it. That's just a really cheap contract though so tough to say. What would the cap hit be for the player you took with that pick?

Edit: Nvm, just realized it's a 2021 pick, just hold. Good chance you can get more or the same for him later if he breaks out or someone in a tight cap needs a cheap QB. It doesn't provide you any cap flexibility since he's practically free anyway.

I prefer Darnold to Baker and would move Baker for a 2nd pretty easily.
