Thoughts on this offer?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Thoughts on this offer?

Postby kiszl » Sun Oct 20, 2019 9:20 am

Tedious to pull off to say the least but wanted to see what everyone thought of this.

I sent: Amari cooper, Cooper Kupp, Lamar Jackson, 2020 late first

I got: Zeke, Russel Wilson, TY Hilton, 2020 late second

Might need to trade for another wr for depth but I feel like this made me a possible contender.

Big trade.

Zeke is the prize here. Big difference between the top 3-5 RB's and when you get to 12 although all are #1's. That said, there is not as much difference in WR's. So that has to be a big help

QB's Love both but Jackson is absolutely tearing it up with his running and likely will end up being the #1 QB, but Wilson is having an MVP year, but lost points on this one.

2020 draft is stacked. That #1, although always a crapshoot, could be a stud down the road.

WR's - so too guys that can just go off. But would I trade both for Zeke. Probably if I had depth at WR or be able to without really harming my team.

So this really comes down to your team mix and whether this gets you over the top. Zeke runs and catches (70+ catches/yr) and is the epitome of a 3-down back.

I would probably do this trade too if it didn't kill me at WR or if my RB situation was woefully weak.
QB: Rivers/b], Mayfield, (J Brissett 6.12)
RB: David Johnson, Mixon, Chubb, (drafted, Breida 1.12, Mattison 2.11, J Samuels 2.12)
WR: AJG, K Allen, Gordon, D Adams, J Ross, JuJu, Westbrook, C Godwin
TE: Engram, (V McDonald 3.12)
K: Lutz 5.12
Def.: (Cleveland 4.12)

Champions 2006 and 2018. Second a few times in between.

No PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB,WR,TE) 1K 1 1 Def
Drop 7 ea yr. 20 player roster with up to 2 IR

Honestly can't pick a side. I probably would have kept what you had because prefer to build around WRs and those firsts will net plenty of could be RBs.

Really big trade here both ways. I would lean the Zeke side, but it's very very close.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I knew I was giving up a lot but I couldnt pass up the chance of owning Zeke and I thought what I was getting back was fair.

You could really make a case for either side. Basically it comes down to preference in this one.
Faith: That which is believed on any subject, whether in science, politics, or religion
Theory: A doctrine, or scheme of things, which terminates in speculation or contemplation, without a view to practice; hypothesis; speculation.

I think you overpaid by a little. The picks probably shouldn't have been involved.
