Robert Woods or AJ Brown and 3rd?

12 team Superflex TE premium

First year dynasty and struggling to gauge values. I've found this forum really helpful for my learning process. My garbage team, 1-5, is in a rebuild. (Could be strong next year if the crick don't rise and I add another RB and WR.)

Give: Robert Woods
Get: AJ Brown + 2020 3rd

Where do you stand? I would for sure do this if I got a 2020 2nd, but do you think this is enough? I liked Brown enough coming out of college, but his situation is pretty horrendous. Maybe I could throw in one of my junk RBs to bump it up to a 2nd?

Also should I even look to trade Robert Woods or is he a guy you would like to have next year? I think my WR core has some potential to be solid over the long run. I do need a stud though.

If you can include an rb to get a 2nd I’d take it

Would you pull the trigger as is? Or try to get that second by adding a piece?

I'd think it is pretty close market-wise. Woods is getting the targets, have to figure some touchdowns will come. Impossible to predict who will be QB'ing in Nashville next season. I suppose I'd hold if I thought I could compete next season but fine with it if you are high on AJB

If you like Brown more long term, I would take it if you are not competing. Look long term if that is your goal.

Thanks y’all! Ended up including an RB and getting a second. I do think I have a shot next year, but there are lots of “ifs” involved so “if” that comes to fruition, I could prob trade for another WR.

For a rebuilding team I think brown is fair value.
