I took my handcuff, especially since Freeman hasn't looked THAT great. Like you said, I think there;s a chance
Whoops
One week where nobody in the world started him doesn't mean much. I'd be selling high on him if I owned him.
Exactly. I gambled and took my handcuff. If Freeman went down and Ito put up those stats then I would have looked like a genius.
Edmonds probably didn't gain much value in dynasties.

I don’t disagree with your move... even though I think Edmonds is more talented, definitely could have gone either way.
I do disagree that he doesn’t gain value..
DJ isn’t healthy and who knows when and if he’ll ever be 100% himself again..
I think Edmonds has shown enough to be a bigger part of the offense and unfortunately for DJ I think he’s proved he’s going to need a slightly lighter load moving forward.
A lot of benefits for Edmonds imo.

Should always go with the player you think has more talent. Why roster a handcuff for one of your starting players? The ONLY way that player becomes relevant is if your starter goes down. Contrarily, if you've kept on the roster better players behind guys that are just as (and sometimes) more likely to start due to injury, you've potentially added another starter to your team.

Handcuffing your own players only makes sense if the handcuff somehow has more chance to start than any other option; and that probably means you shouldn't be relying on the "starter" you've cuffed anyway.
