Lamar owner wants Mahomes -- what should he add?

1QB for now, transitioning to add a superflex in 2021. Price/contract differences are fairly negligible, though Lamar is so cheap that it's basically nothing. Had another topic along these lines a few days ago but he's still at it and now adding a bit, so wanted to cut to the chase of what he should be adding.

Tricky to evaluate with superflex on the horizon but not for a couple more seasons. I've never played superflex before, so I'm not sure how radically that will change the value of these two guys. What would you want, in addition to Lamar?

Jackson looks legit and is a top 4 QB asset. With transitioning to SF, I would need at the very least a 1st added to Jackson. I would still struggle to make that deal.

Thanks, that’s illuminating for me as a non-SF player — he’s a top 4 asset, yet the gap is vast enough that a 1st would be a struggle? My concern would mostly be Jackson’s longevity/durability.

I'd want a first more but there is no way I'd give even a first. Production difference between the 2 QBs isn't equal to the production I could likely buy with that first in another position.

I would want at least a couple firsts but that personally doesn't even get it done for me with superflex coming. Jackson is nice, Jackson is also a better fantasy QB than a real life QB. Good for the games, but I just don't see him doing this for 7-8 years maybe im wrong. Mahomes will be around in 2040

I’ll be new to superflex and I’m only three years into dynasty (having never had an elite QB in that time) so I’m still learning how the community evaluates there. Thanks all!

Piling on: I'd need two firsts to make that move and still probably wouldn't pay it. If I'm the Lamar owner, there's no way I'm paying that and I'm stocking young QB talent and making my run right now, while my running QB is still in one piece.

Think about how much you would want to sell Barkley or McCaffrey in 1QB. That's the kind of ridiculous overpay you should be getting to sell Mahomes in superflex/2QB.
