Amari Cooper for Scary Harry

Year one of a startup, team two in the signature. Injuries and the Browns have ruined my season, but I was hoping to have a somewhat competitive team that could sell some older pieces for stock in this draft anyways.

Got an offer where I would send N'Keal Harry and Terry McLaurin for Amari Cooper. I feel like this is pretty decent value, but could easily be selling two Coops for one. I do feel like Amari is in the age range I'm looking to add and clearly having so many 24 and younger players has helped me achieve my 1-5 record....

I would go Cooper at this point. Pretty easily. He's had his ups and downs, but with the lack of production of other top WRs (OBJ, JuJu, Julios getting older, Allen is up and down, Evans - kindof) he is approaching that high end WR1 range again. Harry could be good, but he's got a long way to go, and with the uncertainty of Brady every year, it's concerning, and hard to project high end WR1 status at this point. Terry is a decent option, but I've been fooled one too many times on Washington WRs to invest in him, or them at this price. I would easily accept Cooper for those two.

I'm passing on Cooper. I think he has a tendency to get erased when facing elite competition. Also, nobody has any idea what kind of situation he winds up in next year. McLaurin looks like a young stud and Harry is going to get to learn in an offense where he's going to face the third-best corner of each team.

I wouldn't give you McLaurin alone for Cooper, but that's based on how much I like each player and not market value.

Hard pass.

Cooper's contract situation is a major factor here for me too. Hard to say where he ends up next year with Gallup looking like a somewhat similar/cheaper option for Dallas. I would hold for now and see how Harry looks once he comes back over the next month of the season. It will take time to settle in but McLaurin looks really solid. Hold for now.

I'd move that for Cooper.

That’s tough. If you’re not competing I’d lean holding but it’s a crapshoot right now.

Half of me is saying it's a fair trade and the other half is saying take Cooper quickly. I think the correct move is to take Cooper here. Both Harry and McLaurin are more hype than talent right now. Certainly that can change if they produce/stay productive.

Cooper, but I was a believer and telling people to buy before the trade to DAL.

I love Terry, and N'Keal has a chance to show what he is worth in the next few weeks. I always find it hard to move rookies as they are difficult to value. I would find it hard taking that offer without seeing what Harry can do first. I like Cooper, but as has already been pointed out, he might not even be in Dallas next year.

Thanks everyone. Luckily both the Cooper owner and myself are out of the country so it has bought me some time to hold.

This one is really tough for me too. Cooper still has pleanty of football left in him and who is to say he doesn't go to a team like the Ravens next year? As much as I would like to see Harry play, it could also kill the trade if he doesn't show much his first couple games.

I think this is pretty close.

I’m inclined to go Cooper tho.

Cooper is off to a great start this year, but contrary to a couple of the comments posted in this thread, he is not a “proven stud” (at least not any more than McLaurin is) and has never finished as a WR1, let alone a high-end WR1, so this year’s production doesn’t represent a return to that status so much as finally living up to those lofty expectations. He seems to have finally become more consistent and reliable, which I’m sure is a relief for his owners, but I still don’t think I’d trade both of those talented young WRs for him. He just has too much history of weekly volatility and overall underperformance for me to buy into him as an elite, high-end WR1 yet.
