I'm rebuilding. I don't own Cook. I've been trying to sell Tate, but getting NO interest.

I don't see a path for Mattison, but I'm starting to think this deal makes sense, accumulating young talent > holding on to Tate on a non-contender.

If this was offered, instant accept. If you're going to offer this, I highly doubt anyone is selling Mattison for Tate. Tate is an aging WR3/flex, whereas Mattison is a high-priority handcuff with RB1 upside.

Cook is injury prone I sure see a path for Mattison; Tate is older on a rebuilding team.

Easy accept for me if this is on the table.

In a rebuild I’d accept. Or you can gamble and hope Tate has a few big games and then look to move him to a contender.

I'd make that trade. Worst case scenario, you can probably flip him to the Cook owner for more than whatever Tate is worth.

1 negative is, Cook owner is by far the worst team in league, so I won't be able to flip to him if an injury... But , yea. I guess doesn't hurt to stack on a young, talented guy.

Handcuff elements aside, Mattison looks good watching the game. If he wasn't behind a talent like Cook, he could easily be an NFL starting RB, not just a comittee guy
