Any change in Zay Jones with Oakland?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Any change in Zay Jones with Oakland?

Postby LMS123 » Mon Oct 07, 2019 7:41 pm

I like it better for him than Buffalo. Him not being able to beat out Beasly or Brown isn’t a great sign. But he was a stud at college so there’s some potential there imo; what do people think about the change of scenery for him?

Lots of studs in college have become duds in the NFL. The change of scenery certainly can't hurt although I don't think getting traded to Oakland is necessarily a better spot than buffalo, you never know. It certainly wouldn't be inconceivable that he develops a chemistry with Carr and starts to show some of that potential he exhibited in college.

I don't see a ton of improvement in his situation but maybe he just did not fit in Buffalo. He was a pretty hyped wr coming into the league.

Can't see how this can hurt his situation, not sure it will necessarily help him either. At least he'll get opportunity (hopefully)

I guess the situation is better since he's got even less competition, but I don't think that's the problem with Jones. Sometimes, you just have to ask yourself, is this player good or not? At this point, I think we've seen enough to know that he's probably a JAG.
