M. Gordon for Winston + Godwin

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

M. Gordon for Winston + Godwin

Postby infamousbacardi » Mon Sep 30, 2019 10:09 am

2 QB league, team in sig, not sure what to make of Winston long-term still.

What do you make as a starting point of Melvin Gordon for Winston + Godwin?

If not enough straight up, for W+G, what more should be added to Gordon side?

Is it even a deal worth exploring?

Seems light based on 2 QB values but I agree, not sure where to value/think of Winston at this point.

Not a close start. Even with Winston's erratic play he's worth a lot more than Gordon in this format.

I'm very high on Gordon, but you're probably short by at least a 1st.

You'd trade Melvin Gordon straight up to acquire Jameis Winston in this format? Winston lost starting job this year at one point and through 2 weeks this year was looking pretty rough as well. So hard to value him.

id say this has little chance of being considered until gordon plays a game. gordon side needs to ad a 1st but most likely needs to add a legit qb
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp

This ^. Good/consistent QB's don't just fall off trees, so even with Winston's imperfections and inconsistency, he will need to absolutely fall flat on his face for an extended period of time in order for Arians to move on . . . and with TB's current weapons, I just don't see him outright failing miserably.

This all begs the question then, how do you feel about Jameis Winston straight up for Melvin Gordon then? Guy with Winston in this league is stacked and would be tough to give him MG, but, if Winston wins the trade then it ought to be considered anyway. He offered me Winston for Gordon straight up, seemed light initially to me, though.

I would definitely try and get something added to Winston, MG > Winston even in SF. The Godwin piece heavily shifts value to the Winston side IMO.
