Need advice, was this trade horribly lopsided? Melvin Gordon for 2020 1st, 2 2020 2nds, and Will Fuller.

First will be in the 1.10-1.12 range, one 2nd will be very early (2.01-2.03), other will be late (2.10-2.12). I needed some Rb depth as performance of mine has been poor and the Gordon owner needs a complete rebuild of his team. My league mates cried foul. It’s odd because the ones crying just completed a trade of Zeke and Will Dissly for Cooper Kupp, Sony, MVS, and a late 2020 1st and 2nd.

I’m the commissioner here and don’t want to give the impression I am trying to screw anybody over. If it’s grossly out of balance I would pull it back but I don’t want people thinking trade vetoing is a thing. Thoughts?

I'd easily take Gordon here, but to claim that it's so lopsided that it needs to be pulled back or vetoed is absurd.

I like the Gordon side quite a bit as well, but as usual, no veto. If the other owner willingly made this trade and there's no collusion, tell your leaguemates to go kick rocks.

He had been talking about moving Gordon for a while because his season is basically over and he is having to shift towards thinking about 2020. My assumption is I am one of the league favorites and they are mad that I may have gotten better but that seems like the point. I dunno. That and it’s a high price to pay honestly if Gordon ends up signing somewhere where he isn’t force fed the ball like he was with the Chargers. I was thinking about adding another 2nd to the deal but tempted to just let it ride. Most were up in arms because it is for draft picks only and they think I should have to move a significant piece out of my starting lineup instead.

It seems a smidge light on Melvin, but that said, maybe the owner just wants to get rid of the headache and rebuild.

In one of my leagues the commish freaked out because the AB owner traded AB for Chris Godwin right when AB was released from the Raiders. He then got picked up by the Patriots and the commish was like "everyone knew he would be going to NE and this is BS" to the point he guilted the new AB owner to trade AB back. Guess how pissed the guy who got Godwin is right about now. My point is you never know how things work out.

I completely agree. Everything about this game involves risk and luck and you just never know how things can turn out.

I think this trade is fairly even.
I'd value Gordon at roughly 2 1sts given the uncertainty of not just this year but next year as well.

I think its a good move if you want to try to buy lower on Gordon, and I think its a good move if you're fed up with Gordon and want to get something for him instead of him sitting on your bench.
