Trio of promising WR's for Chubb+Goff? (14 teamer 1QB, polled)

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which side would you prefer here? (1QB)

Goff and Chubb

Trio of promising WR's for Chubb+Goff? (14 teamer 1QB, polled)

Postby johnnymozart » Tue Sep 24, 2019 8:18 pm

Offer was made of McLaurin, Samuel, and Kupp for my Chubb and Lamar Jackson. I did not want to do that but was intrigued enough to consider it for Goff rather than Jackson. This seems like a pretty solid return but wanted to see what the consensus is. I'm high on everyone involved (with the exception of Goff, to an extent-- hes solid but unexciting and locked in as the QB in a nice offense). I'm a bit weak at WR too _ team in sig! Thanks!

Chubb, Goff
Kupp, McLaurin, Samuel
My team/Picks (14 Teamer- .5PPR) Start 1 QB, 2-3 RB, 2-3 WR, 1-2 TE
QB Lamar Jackson, Goff
RB Chubb, Montgomery, Ronald Jones, Kerryon Johnson, Mattison, Boston Scott, Bo Scarb, Crowell (IR), Penny (IR)
WR Woods, ARob, Boyd, CDavis, Metcalf, AMiller, TyWilliams, Reynolds, Boykin, H Butler (IR)
TE Mark Andrews, Goedert, Everett
K Tucker
DEF Pittsburgh
2020- 2.01, 2.06
2021- 2nd

I think I’d take Chubb over all 3 wrs
Team 1: 12 team PPR Superflex Dynasty League with 30 man rosters (2019 Runner Up)

RB - A. Jones, T. Gurley, J. Mixon, R. Mostert
WR - AJG, S. Diggs, C. Kirk, M. Sanu, R. Anderson, C. Davis, C. Conley, K. Cole, O. Johnson, Z. Jones, S. Miller, T. Quinn, K. Bourne, I. Ford, R. Gage, A. Dulin
TE - G. Kittle, D. Njoku, R. Griffin, F. Moreau
K - S. Gostkowski
Def - San Fran

Taxi: R. Armstead, J. Hurd, J. Williams

2020 Picks: 3.09, 4.07, 4.08, 4.10, 4.11
2021 Picks: 3rd, 4th, 4th
2022 Picks: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

Don't get me wrong: I love Chubb, but even in 1/2 PPR those receivers are going to help you. Kupp is no hype boy: He's Welker Jr and I have a feeling that McLaurin is going to stick. Evan Samuel is killing it with Allen chucking to him. You need more help at WR than you do at RB. I'd take this in a heartbeat for the team in your sig. They would instantly become 3 of your top 4 receivers.
The Max Fischer Players Orphan rebuild - year three (Superflex)
1-2 QB 1-6 RB 1-6 WR 1-6 TE PPR 12-team 24 on roster 2 IR spots.

RB: M. Gordon, T. Cohen, M. Walton, P. Barber, D. Thompson, I. Smith
WR: M. Thomas, K. Allen, C. Sutton, D. Slayton, A. Isabella, D. Westbrook, David Moore, A. Wilson, Auden Tate, J, Kumerow, G. Jennings
TE: N Fant, H. Henry, T. Higbee
IR: Preston Williams, C. Coleman
No Kicker or DEF

I think the wr's are better for your build. Kupp is a legit top 10 wr in my opinion. He has on the same trajectory last season before getting hurt. The other two are both looking solid as well and all three are young. I would try to hold both your QB's here based on the league size, but overall, I think it's a solid trade.

I don't think Chubb is worth that much more than Kupp. Value is probably on the WRs side.
