What’s next after an 0-3 start?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What’s next after an 0-3 start?

Postby Failurebytopher » Tue Sep 24, 2019 12:02 pm

For the team in my sig. I’ve started 0-3 but have an easier stretch of schedule coming up and the 1st place team just lost Saquon with no depth behind him. I have all my picks but my 2nd (traded for Dallas Goedert a few weeks ago).

I guess what I’m asking is, should I still try to compete with this roster and who would you sell first if not? Thanks!

I would look to add a TE maybe for Robinson? Otherwise, I would stay the course and let the season get rolling a bit longer. You have some solid pieces in place.

I think you stay the course for now. If you find yourself out of contention in the next 2-3 weeks, you should consider selling Mixon. You should keep Muray, Chubb, Golladay, Ridley, Robinson, Kirk, Metcalf, McLaurin, Sutton, Goedert, Dissly imo. Sell the rest if able.

I think you got the young WRs and QBs, you just need the RB talent which you can get through the draft.

If the opportunity comes to move some of those WRs for higher quality WRs or pairing with Mixon for up upgrade I think you want to try to consolidate some of that talent.

I would hold onto Mixon, he may have a tough year so you would be selling low. You need some studs on your squad, maybe you can package a couple of your young WR's for someone like Kennan Allen. Hold onto your 2020 draft picks and try to get more

You have no quality qb currently, Murray may get there, but he’s going to be very inconsistent. You have a nice core of young wrs and rbs currently. I’d ride it out for now. If you continue to lose I’d look to “tank” by still starting guys, but possibly playing a war with a really tough match up, etc. play for a higher pick and go from there.

Doesn't look like a contender to me. Package some of those young WRs for better WRs and build around your youth. Sell high in Golladay if you can.

You have a young team; I'm fine staying the course here. The issue with shipping your young guys is you don't know what they're going to turn into. Lose this year and enjoy your high(ish) first.
