Brady for 2020 1st?

Team below.. its a 2qb + SF league so we can start 3qb., I'm 2-0 and lead league in points. I'm afraid to tinker since I look to a be a serious contender, but a team desperate to win is willing to give me a 2020 1st for Brady. I may could counter and get 2020 1st + Jimmy G for Brady and 2020 3rd.

8 team league so pick would be top 8. QBs are usually 1st off the board in rookie drafts. The 2020 1st looks to be around 1.05 or 1.06 however if he doesn't make playoffs, the 4 non-playoff teams go into a lotto for 1.01-1.04 order.

What do yall think?

If you can get Jimmy & a 2020 1st for that, Iā€™d snap accept.

In that format, Brady is worth A LOT. A 2020 1st and Jimmy G would be the least I would take, but I think it's still a little light, and I certainly wouldn't add a 3rd to my side. But like you said, if you are in first place, I don't know that I would want to downgrade from Brady to Jimmy G. Just keep Brady and go out and win a ship.

so 8 teams, 3 QBs per team start, assume 1 on bench = 4 QB/team = 32 QBs. 2020 1st seems reasonable for a QB with high immediate value and low longterm value. if you can somehow get a QB in return thats an easy accept imo.

As is, I would pass. Brady is too valuable in the format for a 1st only. Based on his age, that is likely the top return, but I would rather hold and take a run.

I am on the other side here. Brady has maybe 1 or 2 seasons left tops. Having two firsts in next years class gives you the ammunition to get a top tier QB for 10 years. Yes i would try and counter to get more, but would accept as is

As long as you have 3qbs to play, I agree.

I agree with this. You still have Carr and Minshew. Plus once you get a second first round pick, what stops you from packaging those picks for a younger qb who will produce similar numbers to Brady.

He countered back with Mariota and a 1st for Brady. He also has Trubisky, I was trying to go more in that direction. He doesn't want to part with Jimmy G.

And I currently don't hold a 2020 1st. I have 3 2020 3rds and a 4th.

Yuck. Jimmy G is better than Mariota and Trubisky. Again, I just hold Brady here and go after the championship this year.

I would take Trubisky and a potential early 2020 1st for Brady. Patriots could easily win it all again and Brady retires and you get nothing in return. The 2020 draft is stacked so with Brady's age I would take the gamble. This is probably the best offer you will get for Brady so if you want to sell now is probably your best offer.

Appears you will have to settle in just receiving a 2020 1st for Brady unless their is another skill player of value he could add. Last choice is sit on Brady and hopes he keeps on keeping on.

I'd make that trade pretty easily.

Don't miss the forest for the trees. The goal of fantasy football is to win championships. If you want to sell Brady in a 3QB league for a 2020 1st, have at it. But when you don't win the championship at the end of the year, you can be sure that will be why.
