Mark Andrew's value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Mark Andrew's value

Postby darewood11 » Fri Sep 20, 2019 4:43 am

Team not in sig I'm rebuilding and have a guy interested in Andrew's. He has a top 3 team but needs a te. What is Andrews value? His 1st will undoubtedly be late so I'm thinking I need the 1st and a prospect of some kind is that crazy?

A late first is appropriate IMO. If you can get more, even better.

Honestly not sure why you would want to move a young stud TE for just a late 1st in a rebuild.

Definitely not out of line to ask for a first+

O I'd definitely have to have more than just the 1st.

100% not trading him. If I'm in a rebuild the sky is the limit. If I'm contending, I'm taking these points now. Complete hold for me if I own him. Which I do in about 70% of my leagues.

I’d want a least a mid first. In a rebuild, I’d be holding unless I got a massive overpay. He’s the real deal.

I would hold him for your rebuild.

If you're rebuilding, a young, 2nd year, TE1 is the exact type of player you hold onto.

WR: Ridley, Cooper, Thielen, M. Thomas, D. Smith, Boyd E. Moore, R. Moore, Reagor, St. Brown
TE: Kelce, Fant, Engram
Defense: Denver
Kicker: Gay

2022: None
2023: 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd

I would hold. Couple more weeks and I see him moving into the top tier of tight ends. His #s since Lamar took over last year are through the roof, not to mention efficient

No point in moving him in a rebuild unless you get an overpay. Not sure what his roster looks like, but ask for the 1st and another young player you like with upside.

Andrews is the kind of guy you buy, not sell...at least not unless you get a massive overpay.

It's hard enough to find solid TEs, but Andrews is a young one, paired with a young QB, and has a coach that was previously a TE coach with an affinity for the position.

One 1st and a prospect is not an overpay. Think about what Kittle was going for at the end of last season...that's the kind of value you would have to get to sell.

Unless you think this is all smoke and mirrors there is little to gain by moving him for a draft pick.

Disagree with others, if you can get late first and a young prospect you like, I’d go for it. I think Andrews will be good, but it’s a nice sell high spot IMO.
