Enough for Hock?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which of these trades is the right balance of a good trade but a "fair" offer?

Enough for Hock?

Postby Avery » Wed Sep 18, 2019 8:20 pm

Edit to add a poll with some options to vote om!

Team 2 below and I've been making it work at TE but now with Njoku down, I need a bridge to Hendron.

Looking around my league, I'm thinking Hockenstein may be gettable.

Here's his team:
QBs: Rivers, Brissett
RBs: Ingram, McCoy, Michel, Penny, Pollard
WRs: Amendola, Foster, Filler, Hurd, Z. Jones, Parker, Stills, M. Williams
TEs: Hockenson

I'm thinking of offering:
Njoku + Robinson for Hockenson
or
Rodgers + Robinson + Njoku for Hockenson + 2020 1st

Would love to hear thoughts on what your thoughts are on each of those packages in terms of if I should do it and if they are "fair" value.
For bonus points, feel free to come up with a different/better offer.

Thanks for the assist!

I would try a Robinson + Miller package and see where that gets you. Likely not enough but I would want to hold Njoku in case Hockenson hits a rookie wall.

I hear you but as he has no other TE I feel I'd need to offer him a TE back... even an injured one.

Why not just try getting Olsen for a 4th or something? I think trying to get Hockenson from a guy with only 1 TE is a lot of trouble to a fill a 2 week gap until Herndon comes back.

Heard but thinking that his teams weak enough at enough positions that maybe Hock is gettable here.

You need a none of the above in that poll. I wouldn't trade Hock for any of those options. Also I'm assuming Rodgers is Aaron, which in case won't help this guys team at all cause he doesn't look to be competing

Offering Njoku + Miller was going to be my suggestion

when you need a short-term fill-in the hot, young thing should not be your target. Hock's value will vary wildly from owner to owner and it's only gone up from the mid-late 1st he was drafted at. go offer a 3rd for delanie or olsen or eifert
