Trading away D. Hopkins - pick an option

Postby Fezzik » Wed Sep 18, 2019 8:18 am

Ok, so Team 2 in my signature was on the brink of a rebuild, and I think it's time to pull the trigger.

Several things make me want to do this...
- Roethlisberger, McKinnon, L. Miller all out for the season
- Gronk retired
- Gurley's.... situation/decline
- team was lite in general

I put up Hopkins for the highest bidder, and recently received two offers from my two best friends in the league (talk fantasy all the time with them).
- Golladay, 2020 first, Dan Jones
- DJ Moore and a first

I approached the Juju owner to guage his interest level, but he seems content at the moment. I'm curious if he'd add to Juju at this point. Has a competitor.

Neither of these offers really excite me but I wanted some feedback. Honestly never sold a stud before, although I have bought one for a big package.

I just don't think Hopkins will help a ton when my team is competitive again, and I want to jumpstart it with young players on the rise. Open to thoughts.

Both offers are really low for Hopkins. If Cam didn't look so bad I'd almost consider the Moore offer if a little more was added.

I think they are light by at least a mid to late 1st l. KennyG is almost as old as hopkins anyway and plays a game that is very exciting to watch but pretty rough on the body with all the diving and crashing around.

Id for sure want another 1st on top of Moore.

Danny Dimes is pretty worthless in 1 qb league.

You can do better than those offers.

I would take JuJu straight up if rebuilding, though id ask for something on top. Hopefully someone like McLaurin.

I like the idea of blowing it up and rebuilding, but I would pass on both of the offers for Hopkins. Hold him until you get a deal for his value or simply hold.

Whoever voted for Moore and a 1st needs to come forward now. Both options are terrible. If you can get Juju+, do it. If not , hold. You've got plenty of other players you need to try to move before you trade your stud.

I am only moving Hopkins for Juju + a bit otherwise there is no other WR young and good enough for me to give up the best asset.

Hate these options. Let your league know he is available and let the offers come to you
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts
