2020 2nd for Bridgewater? (need qb help)

Team in signature. It's Superflex. Just lost Brees, and Lamar is the only startable QB on my roster now.

Talking with the Bridgewater owner, and he wants a 2020 2nd + Golden Tate.

I'm 2-0, and feel I have a decent chance to win it all this year if my QBs pan out.
Teddy is pretty much the only reasonably priced QB available right now to acquire. Worth it? Or pass?

That seems really cheap to me in SF even if he is a rental starter for 6 - 8 weeks. Maybe he starts next year in New Orleans or elsewhere too?

I'm holding tight and not chasing Bridgewater. I'd much rather chase Rudolph or Minshew to be honest. See if you can get a cheaper deal with one of those.

I'd probably take this. Teddy is about a 2nd and Tate looks like he'll never make your starting roster anyway.

I'm in agreement that I'd try to go for Rudolph or Minshew. It's not the worst deal, but one that I wouldn't make unless I couldn't get any other QBs for cheaper.

What's the Rudolph owner asking for him? I'd try all my options to find a different QB before paying that for Teddy. If that's absolutely my only option and you think he helps you stay competitive until Brees comes back, then I'd make the trade.

Bridgewater owner just dropped Tate from his offer to just a 2nd.

Given that you have Brees I think its a reasonalbe trade. You'll have the NO starter (supposedly). The other option is to scrap together a non-QB for your SF for now, and in a couple weeks, look at the teams unlikely to be in contention and try to trade for their vet QBs.

So like, I don't see how this helps your lineup. Between, Hopkins, OBJ, Godwin, and Hollywood Brown, you're got both your flex and SF spot filled. I don't think Teddy will be providing that much of a PPG edge than one of those players, if he does provide one at all. Be patient. Play the wire.

Yeah, I agree. I think I could make it by with 1QB for now, but once bye weeks set in, I could be left pretty thin. And week 8 I’ll have no QB to start.

It’s a 6pt TD league, so even if Teddy or Minshew are mediocre, 15 points could help over the next 6-8 weeks until Brees is back or Haskins gets the nod.
