Mason Rudolph

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Mason Rudolph

Postby Peepyopee » Mon Sep 16, 2019 9:06 am

I was holding onto him for 1 more year when Taxi squads would be activated. Big Ben out for the season, should I hang on to him or go ahead and move him. Owner just lost brees and has a mess at QB, offered a 2020 2nd rounder for Mason. My other QBs are Watson and Stafford (1QB League). I've always been high on Mason but thought it would take a little longer for him to be in this position. I also wonder if Pitt will draft and use one of the upcoming Rookie QBs right away.

Thanks

If best you can get is a 2 right now I think you're better off just holding and watching how he does.

I would hold and hope his value skyrockets in the coming weeks.

In a 1qb league? What’s his value going to sky rocket to? I’d take a 2 and run.

Wow I totally missed that it was 1QB too, I just assumed it was SF because Rudolph wasn't worth stashing in 1QB. I change my vote to accept.

I thought this was going to be a SF/2QB league and was going to say hold. In a 1QB league, sell for a 2nd very easily.

I ended up getting a 2020 1st (somewhere in the 4-8 range my guess).

I am still new to Dynasty, first league and this only our 2nd year. To be honest I did not see the immediate issue of holding a backup QB but w/o taxi it makes 0 sense.

Wow, that is a potential franchise changer for you in a 1QB league, no way he's worth a 1st round pick. There are maybe 3-5 QBs I would consider trading a 1 for in 1QB, and Rudolph is absolutely not one of them. Congrats.
