Chubb for Kerryon and 2020 1st

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chubb for Kerryon and 2020 1st

Postby Matt1975 » Sun Sep 01, 2019 7:49 am

I was offered Kerryon and top 3 (most likely) 2020 1st for my Chubb. I say top 3 2020 1st because the owner of the pick isn’t acquiring Chubb, they own Luck 2 QB league and now are short handed at QBs.

Thoughts?

IF you like any of the other top backs in 2020 more then Chubb, I would make the deal as Kerryon on top is a nice piece.

I agree with the person above, if you think one of the RB's next year will replace Chubb....its an easy yes for me.

I think if you even remotely like kerryon this is a good swap for you. Next years early draft picks are i Insanely valued and will only increase. Kerryon could very well match chubb this year in production.
10 team .2 PPR, .2 return yards. 28 player rosters, 16 offensive keepers on cutdown day.

QB- Rodgers, Lamar J, Josh allen

RB- Sony Michel, Kerryon J, Royce Freeman, Kalen Ballage, CJ Anderson, Justin Jackson, Damien Harris, Alex Mattison, Qadree Ollison,

WR- Davante Adams, Tyreek H, Josh Gordon, Alshon Jeffrey, Curtis Samuel, K Stills, John Brown, Demaryius Thomas

TE- Eric Ebron, Chris Herndon, Dallas Goedert, Matt Lacosse, Will Dissly, Darren Waller

K-greg the leg

If its a pick towards the top of the draft next year, i would say you would be getting good value in this deal. I am high on Kerryon tho

Yeah I think it depends if you believe in Kerryon or not (like injuries, RBBC, etc).
I have both in a league and a guy keeps wanting them for like a 1st and a second or crap like Tevin Coleman and Cooper Kupp.

Kerryon and a top 3 2020 pick seems like good value though

Next year RB class is gonna rival 2017's. Travis Etienne, Jonathan Taylor, and my personal favorite D'andre Swift all showed out in their first weeks. I am too excited for next year's draft and you should be too. I would definitely make this trade.
Dynasty Team 1:

10 Man, Full PPR, .2 PPC, Double Flex

QB: Kyler Murray
RB: Saquon Barkley , Breece Hall, Swift, Dobbins, Gibson, CEH
WR: Devante Adams, Tyreek Hill, Jamarr Chase, DK Metcalf, Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy
TE: Travis Kelce

2023 Picks: 1.4, 1.8, 2.9, 3.2, 3.6, 3.8

Dynasty Team 2:

10 Man, Half PPR, Double Flex

QB: Tua
RB: Barkley , Mixon, Javonte, Jacobs, CEH
WR: AJB, Tyreek, Lamb, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Kittle

2022 Picks: 1.5, 1.6, 2.3
2023 Picks: 2 x 1st, 2 x 2nd

I’m a little worried the hype for 2020 1sts is getting carried away. You could end up with 1.03 (perhaps worse) and maybe you get a guy in the mood of J. Mixon? Maybe! Most have Chubb slightly above Mixon so you darn well better believe in Kerryon if you make this deal.

I like the Kerryon side by a bit. It's possible KJ and Chubb don't finish all that far apart in PPR and even a late 2020 1st could easily be someone of Chubb or KJs caliber.

I'd accept. Love Chubb as a player, hate his knee. Big nasty knee injuries like his have arthritis written all over them. I think Chubb outscores kerryon and the other RB individually for the next couple of years but after that and as a whole it's KJ and the first fairly easily for me
